AC website and stock browser

Does anyonne have the issue with the stock browser and the AC website? Mine seems to lockup and have to reopen the browser.

I also want my chrome bookmarks to sync with the stock browser like they did on the S3.

I am on the MF3 firmware not rooted.

I typically use the Android Central App on my devices, rather than the website on a browser. Any reason you prefer the browser?

Regarding your Chrome bookmarks, got to Settings/Accounts-Google/[your Google account], and make sure Browser is checked. Background sync usually has to be on for the desktop bookmarks to show up as well, I think.

thank you for the help. I just browse every now and then I have the app as well. For the book marks the Chrome browser syncs fine I am talking about the stock browser. My S3 stock browser synced with my Chrome desktop bookmarks without any issue.

Right, so did you check to see if "Browser" is listed under your Google account's sync settings (System Settings/Accounts-Google/[your Google account])? "Browser" is the stock browser, and is different from Chrome. If you see Browser in that list, make sure the box is checked, which should allow your Chrome bookmarks to sync over to the stock Browser.

TY for the help again but Browser is not even listed under the Google Sync settings

Interesting--the stock Browser appears under my Google Sync settings on all of my devices that have one (Razr Maxx, Asus TF300, Acer A100). I wonder if Samsung changed that feature on the stock Browser for the S4?

Actually, your stock Browser might be called "Internet" in the Google Account Sync settings. Do you see that?

Internet is not listed there either. Was listed as browser on my S3.
