I know everyone's mileage may vary, but I'm asking because I'm starting to wonder if I ended up with a lemon or if there's "user error" involved. If I remember correctly the Acer Chromebook r13 was at one time said to be a wonderful device, but mine is slow and glitchy as heck; pages on chrome load slowly, scrolling on chrome is glitchy, and I thought this was one of the chromebooks that was supposed to be receiving android support "very soon" (reminds me of my BlackBerry days). FWIW my experience with the Chromebook r13 has been pretty crummy, is it just me or are my expectations too high?

Anyway, blah blah blah, I'm sure there's not much you can do or say about this, but now its off my chest . . if this is one of the more "premium' Chromebooks I'd sure hate to try one of the budget options.

/end rant

btw - love reading your stuff Jerry, sorry to waste your day with this, but I feel better =)

Have you already tried doing a Powerwash on your Chromebook?

If you're still having problems after a reset, maybe there's some file in your Google Drive creating some kind of instability.
