yeah.... thats what I am afraid of.... My only other hope is that maybe if I open it up I might find something that I can fix... I have had it open before (I dropped it into the tub about a month ago) and its not that complicated inside so... Maybe. Anyone have any thoughts?

nope.... just tore it all the way down and nothing... I even tried putting a magnet to it (kind of shows my age... I guess flash memory doesnt use magnetics like the old stuff did) Oh well, i guess unless there is a program out there that will force my phone to let my computer in and let me load stuff from there I am out of luck and unfortunately away from android..... Thanks for the advice though.
Just curious...wouldn't it have been cheaper for you to just pay Sprint the $35 than buy a Blackberry?
actually my wife is the ebay queen and found a newer blackberry curve for a little more than $20 including shipping. says it works great and the only thing wrong with it is a few scratches.
Not getting the yellow box, so Odin won't let me go on. I do have the Samsung drivers, and the phone is going into download mode, but Odin just won't recognize it.
Hey guys... I tried to put my phone in download mode by holding space, p and power. I help it for about 2 minutes and the screen stayed blank. i tried it with the phone plugged in and with the phone not plugged in but with a full battery and still no indicator lights, no reaction on the screen and most of all no download mode. Is there anything else that I might try? Like I said in another post I really liked leaf rom and was looking forward to trying the update. I was trying to get a contact to save and it wouldnt so I thought a cold boot might and a fresh battery help (Im just too used to windows) and so I pulled the battery out and put my wifes battery in and booted and it still would save the contact and my wife wanted her battery back so I gave up and swapped back and ever since then it wont come on, and it wont show any indicator light or anything. If there is anything i can do to it please throw some ideas my way. Thanks!
It sounds like you bricked your phone. That happened to my replenish a couple weeks ago. Hope you have insurance.
Installed Leaf_ROM 0.2 today. I noticed after installing, many of my apps no longer appear in my phone (even the ones I want - such as Google Maps/Navigation. Google Market still shows them installed though.
Also, my calendar does not have any of my calendars in it, even though I've reconnected my phone to my google account.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: Also found that my email wouldn't send or receive and I couldn't receive text messages (but they would send)
Edit 2: Re-ran Leaf and got my email back. Lost my contact list and text/calendar are still the same.

Re-ran Leaf-ROM with the "stop updates" version. Fixed the EF27 issues. Basically solved all the problems.

I need to go back to stock on my wifes replenish. I have the backup saved on the root directory of sdcard as a *.rfs file. I cant figure out how to get it installed back onto the phone. I searched and read around here, but cant figure it out. thanks

Let's assume you are looking to place this ROM on your phone today! Is there any way to place the steps on the first page? I mean, with all of the changes I have read through and the EF27 update? I am not sure where I am in time when I read all the old posts? I am kind of lost... do I root first? Do I use the "sendleaf" program still? lol. I feel like I have been through a year of changes in an hour!
Anyway somebody would be kind enough to just catch me up? as if I am rooting for the first time today?

I'm a little lost and hope that someone can help. I attempted to download Leaf Rom 0.2 by clicking on the download link on page 1 of this thread but get an error when I try to connect through either Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Is there another download location?
I just clicked on it using Chrome and it downloaded fine. Maybe it's your security settings?
Now will you tell me what you did to get this ROM on your phone? I have been reading since the first post and after the 50th change I got lost! lol
So I am guessing this thread is dead since there is mention of releasing .3 "tomorrow" over 4 months ago! lol. And nobody seems to have been back here in a while. Guess I will move on.

What I did was ODIN back to EF23... It still has super user, like you said... then I just installed Superuser and update to EF27. No Superuser and no root.
My phone had no signal so I had to take it in and this fix worked to where I didn't void any warranty.
