Background, I have my N9 set to DND while at work and my Galaxy watch on vibrate. This way I still get notified when text and calls come in. But since the update yesterday, when my phone goes to DND (set to turn on automatically) my watch also goes to DND and I can not figure out how to set them independently.

And ideas on how to correct this?

This must be a Samsung phone with watch issue. It doesn't do it with my LG phone

You should be able to pull down the shade and turn off the DND on the watch. Hopefully it doesn't affect the phone.

Unfortunately it does. Turning it off on either turns it off on both.

It makes sense in some ways as I have put my LG in DND only to have my watch ring in a silent area. I understand your use though. I will search through setting and see if I come up with an idea. It may be hard to test since mine didn't do it.

Have you tried the switch in the Galaxy App under notifications? It says mute notifications on phone while receiving them on watch.

FOUND IT! This happened to me too! Go into the Galaxy Wearable app, in the Home screen, between "Account and Backup" and "Accessibility" in Sync Phone Settings, in there is "Sync Do Not Disturb." Turn this OFF. It's not with the DO Not Disturb settings. Why would it be? That would make it easy to find.
