for gods sake release the worlds first LTE phone before you announce the damn LTE iphone.

Its already out and its called the Samsung Galaxy Indulge by MetroPCS..... the Thunderbolt is Verizon's first LTE phone.... if it ever gets released.

MetroPCS is doing LTE on 2.5+2.5 MHz spectrum in most markets, aren't they?

None of the delays have anything to do with Apple. (unless I missed something and Apple is running HTC and Verizon's tech departments now)

And you should know by know that Apple doesn't give two ****s about Verizon or AT&T, and they don't expect any 'catering' to them from those carriers. They'll do what they want, and AT&T and Verizon will provide the retail support Apple asks for. In their minds devices like the thunderbolt don't exist, so they're not going to bother asking Verizon to delay it because, quite frankly, they don't care.

By then the network will be more built out and more able to support more users without speed degradation.

Keep in mind we won't see any LTE Apple gear for at least a year.

BGR has a post up about the new ipwn digitizer screen and that the phone is being redesigned again. So while it could be LTE, it could also be the crappy ass antenna's they have too. No stock and no interest in the phone.

Not LTE. Just a redesign around the Qualcomm Gobi chip that is only (half) used in the 4.

I say the iphone 5 will be dual chips for att an verizon. No lte. Apple wont jump on lte till its everywere. But i guess on att you will get faster speeds due to 3.5 g.
