After the update to Android 6.0 I am unable to open my contacts app, how can I fix this?

When I open contacts app, it says you have disabled a required permission. I have given all the permission for contact app.
I have tried wipe cache partition at device level and clear data, clear cache at the app level.

I would try to do a factory data reset and don't install any apps to see if you still have the same problem
