Good question but from what I have seen, they are the same this year.
I'm not to worried about extra ones in the box as they will only cost 5-10 quid and I'm unlikely to wear out the one in the pen in a year anyway

I just saw this article. It claims that for those who desire the AKG USB - c wired headphones, you need to contact Samsung customer service. Allegedly, they are willing to give them to you. No word on it will cost or not. Anyone interested in this? I definitely am.

It's a bit of a cheeky way from Samsung to saving a little, imagine how many people that don't know, don't care etc. that never claims the earbuds or 30 quid.

Exactly. Or for folks like me that don't use headphones all that often. I don't wanna spend 150-300 on a pair of bluetooth headphones that I may use 2-3 times a month.

I got through on the chat and they gave me a reference# to use to get a 29.99 promo code. I have to wait until it's shipped to send them an update to get the code. The issue may be that's it's too soon and not everyone is informed. The Android Authority article says that they will update the article with more information on this issue once they hear back from Samsung.

Exactly! That's why I suggest that people wait till they actually get the phone. I bet once you have it they'll throw the wired buds at you.

Agreed! How much are extra tips? I actually use the extra tips because I write so hard with the s-pen. I also use it to pick my teeth.
