AKG Wired Headphones for Free?

I feel this is a lot of work for headphones, if they were high end headphones I’d probably be more eager to put in the work. Lol

Doesn't have to be headphones, it's just a $30 promo code. I used the code on a 512gb MicroSD card instead and got it for $62 shipped.
 
So how are you guys contacting Samsung? Twitter or website? I'm curious which method has the better positive response rate.

Website chat. First time contact I asked for the buds. He gave me a reference # and said contact them again after it ships.

Monday (I think) I chatted again. She didn't even ask for the ref #, only my email and shipping address. An hour or 2 later, the code was emailed.

Nice! I'm using mine for the S7+ book cover. I don't need a keyboard; I don't use the one I have on my S6. I use my laptop if I'm doing something that requires a keyboard.
 
I contacted Samsung Support via chat for the free AKG earphones and they will send me a $30 voucher to buy them. But I'm thinking of using them on a different product better than those earphone muahaha

I just did the chat from my shop samsung app mobile. Nice agent. He verified if my order shipped and asked for my email and address. They said they will email me a promo code for $30 within 24-48 hours.
I try to be very polite and ask them nicely. I said I use the wired headphones for driving and that's it. Took less than 3 min. to chat.
 
I just had to do the chat twice and both times I was 50ish in line. The first chat session he said he couldn't help and gave me the link to what looked like the same chat option but the second chat the person just asked for my email address and said a code would be emailed within 2-3 days but hopefully it doesn't take that long.
 
I got that. I think you missed my point. I have already spoke with 4 different Samsung reps who were clueless about this. This article quotes something directly from Samsung regarding providing them to customers. Having a link to where samsung actually states that would be helpful.

Don't call them, just do the live chat- order help (not the regular live chat, they will just tell you to buy it).
1. Samsung.com
2. Scroll all the way down, press the "contact us" under "support"
3. Press the blue chatbox on the bottom right corner.
4. Press "order help" and fill out the required info. (it should ask for name, email, order number...)

-I just said, "I've bought Samsung Notes before and they all came with earphones, but the Note 20 Ultra that I received today did not have it."
-They said something about Samsung no longer ship out wired headphone but will give a "one-time exception for Note 20/Note 20 Ultra buyers"

Final step: They will give you a reference number and you have to call the technical department once your phone arrived. They will send it to you.

I just spent 3.5 hours doing a chat just to find the UV Sanitizer that no longer appears at the website--and i did not get a margarita for my efforts...

I was disconnected 5 times and was sooooo angry. BUT, they're giving me the extra 10% cancellation code because of this--without actually having to do the cancellation trick.

Last person chat now says, because I didn't buy them from Samsung, I can't get the promo. AT&T is responsible for that. Wth. I'll keep trying....
 
Yep, I am done with chat. This last one was helping with their tech support area, then after they said they were opening the cases up, they sent me a link to a page and said they announced they arent included with the devices, and said to read that while they do this, and I did, and came back to nothing else said and that person disconnected our chat. Terrible support.

I spent 3.5 hours on chat last night with a lre-order issue, was disconnected 5 or 6 times, and still have no answer to my issue. Its was bad enough that I likely won't order this phone.
