I talked to them through Chat before that link was even up. Contacted them the day after I received my Note 20 Ultra. They asked me to verify my order number and IMEI and shipped them to me. I was surprised that they actually shipped them FedEx from Ontario.
I haven't actually unpacked them yet, since I still have a seldomly used pair from my Galaxy Note 10+, but it looks as though there is a lot more cable than what came with the Note 10+. Has anyone verified it being longer? I may have to unpack them and check.
Yup....exactly. I'm not even sure why I bothered because I have enough wired buds that I don't really use. I was glad to get the extra 30 dollar credit though...lol
I don't suppose they come with a dongle?
Why would you need a dongle?I don't suppose they come with a dongle?

Yeah because in the US buds didn't come in the box. They aren't going to send you buds for devices that included them.
I guess they didn't get enough complaints from Canada. Doesn't seem fair that they would operate like that though. Try calling or chat their support line.Canadians didn't get the AKG earbuds, my didn't at least.
It's not the carriers in this case. These carriers seem to be getting a little stingy with accessories like apple not giving chargers this year what a bunch of crap. For what they charge we should get everything for these devices.

With the S20 they made the OTG adaptor available upon request during the order process. With the Note 20, they omitted it entirely and the earbuds.Yeah, back in the day, the carriers made all the decisions, but now, the handset manufactures are the ones that make these decisions.
Seriously though... for a $1000+ phone, why can't they throw in a silly paid or headphones? Or a Charger? What's next? Oh, people have a dozen Sim Tray Removal Tools (or can use a paperclip) so no need for those anymore... Oh, we'll install another bit of bloatware that will just take them to their manuals online and not let them uninstall it...

I hate penny pinching for the sake of the bottom line. I hope Samsung learns from this and includes headphones in future releases.

While I agree that it seems like penny pinching, when you multiple the cost of an omission by millions of units sold it impacts their bottom line.
I also don't think Samsung will learn from this because they will still come out ahead since not everyone is going to claim the buds. For myself, I don't really used wired but it's nice to have a pair as backup.
I have 2 wired and 2 wireless high end over the ear headphones. I also have enough wired and wireless ear buds to last me quite a long time. I can't recall needing a wired pair except I was having trouble connecting to one of my laptops recently. The problem has since gone away. There's really no occasion that I need to keep a set in my car or back pack and if I do I plan ahead and I carry wireless. It's just so much nicer not being tethered to a phone. The sound quality on my Bluetooth buds is pretty good. My over the ear wireless headphones use the LDAC protocol so the sound is fairly close to wired. I do understand though that some people like the wired buds.Yeah, I keep a pair in my car and backpack for that "just in case" time I need them which has happened a few times.
Long did it take from the time you ordered them?I literally got my free headphones yesterday in my mailbox. I'll take anything free lol.
