Been off the charger since 8AM DST.
Conference calls totaling: 130 minutes.
Connected to: Exchange, IMAP, Gtalk, WiFi, GPS
Texts: 15
Emails: 12
Battery percentage remaining: 63

I'd say that's good & pretty much what I expected.

Going from a 1300 to a 1750MaH battery is going to yield you 34% more life. So if your phone on the stock battery lasted 5-6 hours you should now be getting 6.7 - 8.04 hours on your battery.

Of course your day to day and only one day of testing on a new phone is hardly enough to be happy or disappointed with your new purchase. Give it more like a month with the stock battery then a month with the new one and I'm sure you will be happy with the new battery. I know my usage varied wildly from day to day especially with a new phone I'm playing with a lot.

Keep us informed guys, this will probably be my first major purchase for the new phone.

yeah its not spectacular here either. went about 14 hours total yesterday with pretty light to moderate use. i adjusted some more settings today and it seems to be better.

Question, for those that have wifi on and connected about how much % of total power is it taking up. Mine was taking up alot, so i turn it off for now and am running 3G only. But it seems that the 3G connection disconnects after 20 minutes of no use or something

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure WiFi uses less battery than 3G does. And if you're getting 13 hours, I'd say that's pretty good for an HTC device. I wouldn't expect much more than that. I'm assuming this is with the Seidio battery?

I got 12.5 hours yesterday on the stock battery (4% remaining before I put it on the charger) with 3G, GPS, and BT always on. Plus I was using my camera a lot yesterday - light to moderate usage.

waiting for my Seidio battery to show up this week so hopefully I can go all day with it.

You reminded me, my results above was with WiFi & GPS enabled.

450 more = 1.5 hours.

I can swear that I just read. Post by you on cb stating that you were sticking with your S2....interesting???? Don't worry I won't tell

Also I have found with both new batteries and new os's that they take a few days to break in....nothing scientific just my feelings

I haven't run the same test with the stock battery. The first day I got the phone I noticed the abysmal battery life with the stock battery, only after a few hours use. I think it dropped to like 50% after having played with it a lot, but not having any phone calls. I immediately ordered the Seidio battery and received it the next day. You might be absolutely correct about the break in period, so I'll try the stock again and try to duplicate the same usage reported above. It will probably be tomorrow before I can report back though.

I got 35 minutes of talk 6 text 4 emails started and 7 and by 12:30 it was dead on stock battery. I have ordered the extra battery from seidio
