I went to 2 of my local corporate sprint stores today and they both told me JULY 8.
Not sure how true it can be but its another day that can be added to the list of RUMORED dates.
Also this to me sounds like it might b true since its almost the same time as the Evo launch and wit the lack of info released by this time the evo date was allready know.

I was just on the HTC website and saw they changed the EVO View 4G clock date to June 24th. Sprint started taking pre orders for the 3D and the View at the same time so they will probably start selling them at the same time.....so it could be possible that the 24th would be the date. I also took a look at the sensation clock date and it had June 8th on it and thats the current rumored date for it.

Lol just a thought.

Ya it is weird maybe they wont change it? but if the release is late June I would say the 24th it lands on a Friday and that is what day the Evo 4g got released on.

I believe it's June 17 as well. Last week was the 4th week of Evo 3D training for Sprint employees according to the playbook. Someone posted on another forum that a Sprint rep said that Fathers Day is very close to the release date. Best Buy said that they were getting it on the 24th. (I'm assuming Sprint will exclusively sell it for a week) I'm expecting an official release date announcement by June 4th.

Correct, Sprint sends these to retailers each week. I think the Evo 4G had 5-6 flyers, aka Week 1, Week 2, and so on through 6.

This in no way, is a release date.

Folks, I don't think this doc is for Sprint corporate stores. I believe this a doc for third party retailers. The header and footer has "external dealer" on them, and the verbage talks about "preferred" retailers. Not being an "insider" per se, I could be totally wrong, but using that verbage for true-blue (yellow?) Sprint stores doesn't make alot of sense to me.

The manager (Sprint corp store) I spoke to had no reason to lie to me when he said that a Father's Day release was VERY close to the release date. He has played with the phone and talked about it being FAST. It will be on a Friday, no doubt, and I would certainly think that the 17th (the FRI before Father's Day) would be an excellent day (and right before my birthday!)

I wouldn't mind Friday the 17th at all.

Did the manager actually say that he knew the date? Or was it a slightly more informed than us guess? If it comes out in June, we will just to hear something this week!

One thing is for sure though, the Sprint people at non corporate stores are pretty much in the dark. My friend works at one, and he really had no clue. He didn't even know about the June 9th event with Motorola. I would trust the manager of a corporate store more, they seem to be more in the know.

We will see what happens. I am just going to use good ole Pulse to check the blogosphere on an hourly basis!

I just got off the phone with a Sprint tech about 3G outage in my area. Ask about when Nexus S 4G signal issues would be resolved so I can buy one. "haven't heard about that, but you can buy an EVO 3D on June 4th" was the reply I got. FWIW

if it was coming out the 4th then I would expect Sprint to announce the release date tomorrow or Wednesday

They would want it out before father's day. This is a 'guy's phone' after all. If it isn't, they're going to miss those customers.
