Almost downloaded Oden accidentally

Was trying to reboot my phone into safe mode to clear the catch ( power button, home key, volume down button) when the phone went into downloading Oden in secure mode and it was difficult to get out, after a quick Google on a different phone realized this is a Samsung inside install tool for coustom roms it been a long time since I have done anything like that.

Maby someone can refresh my memory how to clear the catch partition my phone is acting strangly today

How to clear the system cache on the Galaxy S8:

Turn the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus off
Press and hold the Volume Up, Power and Home buttons at the same time until the Android logo shows up and the phone vibrates
Then let go of the Power button and continue to hold the other buttons
Use the volume buttons to scroll down to highlight Wipe Cache Partition
Press the Power button
Scroll down to Yes and press the Power button
Scroll to Reboot System Now and press Power
Your Galaxy S8 will reboot with a cleared system cache

Note volume UP instead of down.

That worked fine.
First time I tryed that I was holding the down button and went into the download screen didn't even know that was possible

Haha, I just did this myself. I clear the cache all the time and for some reason, I held the volume down button instead of up and I got to the screen that says "Downloading, Do not turn off target." Lol whoops...

interesting I just did this earlier today and I used volume up power and Bixby buttons.
