Already updated app still shows on 'update' list?

Market shows update list.
Update the apps, but still shows under 'updates' list.
So I go to the app screen, where 'update' button should show, it has 'open' button.
That basically means they are updated (of course I updated the app a few seconds ago).
At this moment, Angry birds rio, devil ninjas show they need update, but they have been already updated. 'Update' button is not even there. It has 'open' button.
Anybody with the same issue? So hard to explain lol

Go to your Settings | Applications | Manage Apps| All. Navigate to the Market app, delete cache AND data. Force close. Restart Market and try again. Happens occasionally to most of us. Don't know why.

When this happens to me, I open click on My Apps in the market menu then push Update X (however many updates there are). That takes care of it for me.
