Always On Display Not Working

I did the update and after that I picked a layout then it says unfortunately aod stopped working
Now whenever I go too it I can't even go back in that area nor does aod work now

I'm new to this android life after leaving from iPhone 5s
Your help would be greatly appreciated

You can pick a different layout than the ones there? Is it possible to change the color?

i was under impression we could click on the 3rd party notification and reply to an email or text. Bummer that isnt the case.
