Kind of wonder why they did that. Who needs their phone face constantly lit up when they're asleep? I would have thought it would have been a no brainer to give a choice of when the constant display is "always on". If always on uses 20% a day, you could set it for 12hrs on and only use half the battery. 12hrs would be heaps for me and I could live with 10% a day use.
I just don't see a use for it myself for now. If there are more functions added to this feature later then it might be worthwhile.
