Am I the only one REALLY missing the 7 homescreens of Droid X??

Wow this software is incredible! I am watching this great youtube video on how to set up the homescreens. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5LISE8BU_E

The flexibility blows me away. I can't believe I have lived with my Droid X for 2 years without realizing I can customize all this!

One great thing about this software: you can create folders and throw apps in it. I just made a folder called VZW bloat and dumped all my unused icons in there (Blockbuster...)! Awesome.

Added screens to make 7 for now. May add a couple more later. Downloaded free INK theme -- it is gorgeous!

Thanks all. Very happy now. Oh and the BIonic rocks. 80% battery today despite playing with the phone nonstop for the last 6 hours (and talking for 2 hours with friend while shopping this am). Amazing. And lightning fast.

Btw. I'm pretty sure blur allows u to have folders too. Just pointing that out. And the Droid x has only been out for one year:-P trololololol

My main screen I have like 8 essential apps that I mainly use and a Beautiful Widget Clock that fills 4x2 of my top screen. Then my left screen just has my PowerAmp widget that fills the whole screen and that's about it. The other 3 I don't even use ha

Same here. I like to keep my home screen with only 4-6 icons for things i use regularly. Gmail, Browser, E-mail, Tapatalk, Market, and HeyTell. Plus the 4 buttons that came standard on the bottom. I like my background image and don't want it cluttered. The screen to the right is for stuff I use, but not quite as often. FM Radio, Shortcut to my OWA, emulators and associated controller linking programs (Sixaxis Controller and WiiMote Control. The screen to the left I just have the data Data usage Widget. Thats it. App Drawer is for everything else.

What's the advantage of having a real desktop if you don't use it? Might as well own the king of all app launchers and apps which is the iPhone and their store. I load up my X with a number of widgets so the iPhone is definitely not my bag. Just sayin.

Cuz it came with it ? lol I'd honestly be fine with the iPhone style 'desktop' though I definitely wouldn't like it as much. Maybe if I find some widgets i can't live without.... but so far i just keep it clean.

I actually like having the extra screens. I like to have nothing but the dock icons, text clock, and weather on the home screen. Then I have a "productivity" page, a tools page, a full size calender page and a fun, games and media page. I don't fill the pages up and I still will use some foldres for things. But I like to be able to go to the page that contains the type of stuff I need - the most used stuff is either to the right or left of the home page -and then I like to easily pick out the app I want.

I like 7 pages, although some pages will only have a few apps.

I've been using launcher pro plus and I love it. It's very smooth and clean and I have not had any bugs or freezups since using it. moto blur is all flash and no function plus it's kind of buggy. Also, I got 7 home screens and I was able to hide all the bloat apps. It's amazing to think some random programmer sitting in his room can do a better job than the efforts of an entire corporation when it comes to a functional user interface.
