Am I the only one who likes to keep their notification bar clear?

Every screenshot I see, their notification bar is just absolutely full of notifications. Emails, Facebook, games, texts, just a whole smorgasbord. I know it's their phone, but it bothers the heck out of me. It's the same when people have the gaudiest fonts known to man on their phones. I mean really, are they blind or do they have no taste? Anyways, am I the only one bothered by that?

Obviously it isn't me because I don't use Facebook, game, and very seldomly text (my wireless plan doesn't include texting)

I tend to keep my notifications clear, but I get so few of them.
Swiping the notification to delete it is sometimes just as good as dealing with the actual event being shown.
