Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7" vs Asus Nexus 7 II

Isn't it the other way around? The big 6 major publishers will not allow their ebooks to be loaned by libraries. Their ebooks are readily available for sale on Kindle.

Nexus 7 (2013)

The same really, I was speaking to the Kindle Lending Library, which has the same Big 6 restriction as local libraries. When it comes to buying books, the Kindle (app or tablet) can't be beat. Google could beat them, if they'd drop some prices and have more deals.

I have an HDX 7.0 on loan from Amazon. Both it and the Nexus are smooth as silk, have the same amazing display, play games perfectly.
The only advantages to the HDX:
Amazon Prime Instant Video support
Immersive reading if you own the book and audiobook (however the true benefit is only for little kids or the ill/semi-literate. Most people would either read or listen, rather than try to follow along)
The Kindle Lending Library, though the limited selection can be found at most local libraries and borrowed the same way with any tablet.
