Android 11 public beta now available!!

I decided to install this on my pixel2 since I have a backup phone in case the beta had to many issues. Happy to find zero problems so far and am using the pixel as my daily. One concern I had was certain apps I need on a daily basis needed to work and they do. Chase app which was borked for quite awhile on android Q is working great. Also my enpass password manager I need frequently also perfect. Pixel is running smooth and fast, no problems. Glad I decided to jump on the beta.
One thing I like is having the option to put various settings on screen for easy access instead of having to start from the beginning of the settings app each time. Battery seems to be dropping a bit faster but might settle down, in any case no biggie.

Been using it since yesterday. So far had two little bugs but other than that it's been solid. When I was using Google podcasts it made the notifications black 2x. And today I went to go take a pictures and the shooter button would not do anything. Portrait, video and night sight were ok. Rebooted and it starter working again.

Haha nice nice ! Google pay is broken for now. I haven't noticed any major bugs either. If I download an image from the internet and then try to save it as my lock screen wallpaper, that crashes. I've submitted a bug report regarding that already this morning. Other than that, I'm just thankful that Android auto actually works for me!

Yeah do far not terrible. The past 2 years I had a good experience with both betas.

Anyone having issues with the galaxy wearable for Buds & Galaxy watch? Mine keeps crashing.

I am using Galaxy Watch Active 2 with no issue so for. I do have a set of Galaxy Buds but haven't used them since I did the update.

Okay, so I've already submitted this as a bug report or system suggestion to Google for Android 11... And overview screen, why do we have two options for screenshots? We can either take a screenshot, or shared. Selecting the screenshot option just allows you to send it to someone and also saves it to your gallery. Sharing option does the same exact thing. You then have to delete it from your gallery afterwards. Unless you want to edit/mark-up or draw on a screenshot...

I noticed this thing called "shell" in my collection of launchers. I've never seen it prior to installing this beta. Anybody know what it is?
If I try to install it like a launcher I get the pixel is starting screen that doesn't do anything.
Curious what it's purpose is and what it is doing in the home app (launcher) file.

Haha, really? Because I got the same Google pay error on my phone as well but I haven't actually tried contact less payments. Interesting...

No I have not checked my launchers out of my Pixel 3 XL. have you tried the other shell launcher at it all on your phone?

Even though this is such a small thing about Android 11 beta so far, I will say this much... The second night flash show my Pixel 3 XL, and Tapatalk Android Central forums I don't have to reload each thread page twice just to access it thread or conversation world talking about. It instantaneously loads as it always should have. When I was in Android 10, that never happened... I always had to reload a page twice to see into the conversation thread, if that makes sense.

I mean I'd say so. 9 to 5 Google, Android police, Android authority are all saying that as well. I mean it's got hiccups and bugs and glitches here and there but so far nothing major in my opinion yet.

Alright, my arm is twisted... Signing up.

picture and picture mode got better not just for resizing the window, but once you drag and reposition the window where you want it to be in your home screen, it actually stays there! Versus always defaulting to the bottom right of your screen for some reason. That always drove me nuts a little bit.
