And now I can't recreate that little bug I saw. Oh, well. I have 5 messages bubbled from Messages and FB Messenger. Nice to have them all grouped together.

I'm also wondering. Has anyone tried working with the message widget?

Yeah, I've tried the messaging widget once or twice, but Just like you, I've go my Google Messages app in my Google folder so no need for the widget itself on my homescreen..

I can't get the damn thing to work properly. All kinds of weird. Works at first then it suddenly disappears and leaves an icon. Had to delete it.

Same here. Woke up to some of them this morning on my 4a.

Until this morning P4a didn't have those notifications. Last night installed the beta very of Carrier Services. This morning I rebooted my phone and there appeared a bunch of those notifications. A dismiss all took care that.

I've had it on occasion. I haven't seen on in a while. Maybe it's because I have animations turned off in Developer mode.

Yes, I've seen those animated icons on the search bar even before the 12 beta.

Installed last week. Reported 2 bugs so far. Sometimes coming off the lock screen I get my homescreen with no icons and swipe up doesn't work. I have to go back and forth with the lock screen using the power button until they finally show up.

Sometimes I cannot just back out of an open app. I eventually have to swipe up and then close it.

Not really a bug but that is ugly lockscreen clock.

Long press the search bar..see first screenshot. Then press the three dots, then preferences. See second screenshot. You can turn the animations (effects) off or on.

Has anyone experienced a verifying error in the chat feature of Google Messages? Specifically, my Messages app has lost its RCS functionality. I have tried everything including a reset of the phone. No luck. Now I am going to wait ten days to see if I can have it return. Thoughts?

It seems like either it works or it doesn't... honestly I think it's out of our hands, it's either on Google's end or the carriers, or both.

Did you contact Google through "Help and Feedback" that is in Messages?

Yeah, it's kind of cute. I turned Animations back on to .5 in Developer Mode and there it is.

I did and had extended conversations and no luck. The initially tried to blame my carrier but that didn't go anywhere. They even suggested that I had a faulty handset and wanted me to buy a new one. I am now letting it rest for 10 days and let's see if they will whitelist my number now.
