Fwiw, when this happened to my Pixel 6 Pro, I left it on "try again", then pressed the power button to reboot.

Got the same error; then did the same thing

After the third boot, my phone reverted to Android 12 and came up normally with all my stuff intact

It comes up normal under safe mode, but as soon as you do any kind of cellular connectivity it turns right back off. I don't want to reset it so I'm waiting it out until I get my new pc and can try uploading the new software. Thankfully it's not my main phone so no rush.

Finally figured out what it was that was making my phone bootloop. Didn't want to completely erase as it was working in safe mode on airplane mode. Reset my network including esim and it started working. Glad I didn't freak out and do a factory reset as I hate to set it back up even if all my info is backed up lol...

I think there is another beta scheduled for release sometime this month. Beta4? If so I’m guessing this week since we are in the 2nd week of the month which has been the sweet spot for release timing. Hoping for tomorrow as Wednesday it seems has been the preferred release day. If not tomorrow then next Wednesday would be another possibility.

Installed this morning. Took slightly less time than the last couple. Still takes a while though. They really have to do something about that "optimization" time......

I installed early this morning. From what I've read, the download, install, optimization process is slow, but thorough, and, it allows us to use our phones while its going on. I've gotten used to it.

Every time I've updated my pixel I've gained some storage space afterwards... so the optimizing is definitely doing something
