Android 5.1 Lollipop Update on First Gen Moto G (2013)

Woke up this moring at 10 am EST with a lovely 5.1 System update notificatoin for my 1st gen. Moto G for Boost Mobile. It's being installed as we speak.

I installed yesterday, and my Moto X, 1st generation is now virtually unusable.

Have you tried clearing the device cache? That should fix the problems you are experiencing.

I also had problems (including an unusable home button), so i just backed up my data and factory reset and it works just fine now! faster and way nicer looking than before!
