Android 8.0 Oreo beta for Galaxy S8 - Unlocked (UK) Sprint & T-Mobile (US) only.

I enrolled and downloaded the update but I'm going to wait a day or two to see what shakes out. I just got the darn thing set up like I like it. I'd hate to mess it up so fast :p

Was there always an option for 18.5:9 ratio available for the rear camera? I wish there was a full listing of what was updated.

Samsung Health is giving me heartburn as well. I get a notification that its running in the background but I can't swipe the notification away and the app is already being optimized battery wise. I ended up uninstalling it.

I'm having this same issue. Can't find how to solve it and don't want to uninstall...

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it three times and finally gave up. Another thing I noticed is that you can't pause Steps. I only used Samsung Health for the heart rate monitor and really don't want it doing all kinds of extra stuff.

installed and working here. first impressions are good. swiftkey the only app that doesn't work yet as far as I can see.

I actually had to boot in safe mode because the keyboard wouldn't come up when the phone booted up and required my password.

That was a frustrating start. But other than that so far so good.

Two annoying things of the gate (S8+ on Sprint): #1 : Persistent notification of Mobile Installer (I gather this is Sprint's updater of some sort) and accompanying background app notification. #2 Notification that SD card is installed on each reboot. Why?

I noticed that for a second when I updated. Did u try pressing the notification? When I did it the notice popped up saying thanks for installing and then went away.

Mobile installer notification does nothing when I press it. Notification telling me that Mobile Installer is running in the background just takes me to the app settings page where I can force stop, etc. SD Card notification can be swiped away. When pressed, it just takes you to the SD card to see the files.

I can get rid of the notifications by force stopping Mobile Installer and swiping away the SD card notification. But when I reboot, they are back. Makes me think they are trying to do something, but I don't know what.

I am noticing since hiccups while multitasking. Just some choppy transitions. Really the only thing I've notice.
