It's the hottest thing this year because my wife has been eyeing my incredible too closely and keeps trying to throw her Palm Centro out of moving vehicles. The Droid X could get me some hot hot hot points with the wifey.

with incredible memory, a large screen, and multi-touch this phone would be an amazing tool for me as a med student in the clinic. It could be enough to scare away any disease on its own.

Hardware looks to be top of the line so it will be in it for the long haul, and this phone will surely be on wish lists for a long time.

The X is the hottest phone out there because it's a great representation of what the mobile industry can produce if they want to impress everyone. The no holds barred style in which they outfitted the hardware is fantastic and I hope the beginning of the new way we see phones built. Build it and we will come.

Now that we have them moving in the right direction on the hardware, we have to convince the manufacturers and providers that we want our software open and unlocked on all this kick ass hardware!

The Droid X is Awesome because it is the size of the Evo without Sense and with a dedicated GPU. It's definitely delicious and would be a nice upgrade even to the the Evo.

Oh, and let us not forget the Gorilla Glass...

There are other phones with the awesome matching specs, what I really want to try out are the re-sizable widgets. It seems to be what sets it apart from most of the competition.

This phone is a beast! It has a huge (not to big, not to small) screen that's just amazing looking. The style and layout of the phone makes it feel incredibly thin and looks great as well. With an 8mp camera it takes great pictures. By the way it takes 720p video! Don't even get me started on on the TI 1 GHz proccessor. This phone is simply perfect in every way and is going to take high end android phones to the next level.

Although many have criticized this phone for not having a front facing camera, the fact that it uses the OMAP processor that has a separate GPU as well as it being on Verizon makes it the must-get device of the year.

What makes the X the hottest thing since nuclear fusion: It's a combination of items, where the sum of the parts make the whole item better; from it's large screen and high speed processor, copious amounts of storage on board, as well as having a throughly modern OS and such amenities as FM radio, hotspot capabilities and HD video capability. Alone each of teh items is great but when combined into a single device it creates a true super phone.

I've been patiently waiting for the right Droid to finally get off my lousy WinMo Omnia, and the X is it. Too bad my contract is up 10 days after Dec 2010 and VZ hasn't been willing to work on letting me upgrade early, so this could be my ticket to the Droid Train!

Embracing Change

I've been a staunch BlackBerry supporter for as long as I've owned a smartphone. But I've secretly wanted an Android phone since the G1. I own a iPod Touch, and while it is a fun toy, I dont care to ever own an iPhone. So this in sense would be a coming out party. To go to the top of the rooftops and proclaim my love for Android and embrace it in front of the masses (in super style). Please "X" me. I'd be forever grateful.
