The Droid X is the hottest phone of the year because it's made by Motorola. For the past year I wanted the Motorola Droid, but passed on it because I wanted a phone without a keyboard. In my opinion, the keyboard is a waste of efficiency. I don't want hardware I'm not going to use. With the 4.3 inch screen of the Droid X, the onscreen keyboard is going to be the perfect companion for this beast of a phone. Here's to hoping I win the new Droid X!

The Motorola Droid X is and will be the best Android phone for some time, even without the front facing camera the TI OMAP 3630 processor is the fastest in the 1GHz family, this thing comes with enough storage to clone the word, and to top things off its the only perfect aspect 4.3 inch display making viewing on the device simply the best, but not only is the screen large enough to make you feel watched at night, they keep it all together in perfect un-apple like construction, as a owner of the original Droid I find it sexually pleasing to pull something Android out of my pocket knowing I have the best phone with the best operating system on the nations #1 carrier, someday I will own a Droid X but I would like to win it on the best android site ever (www.Androidcentral.com) WINK WINK HINT HINT, I could go over all the specs to help describe why this is life’s perfect companion/Jealous Girlfriend Maker but I am at work and don’t want to get fired….To all my Android Family (Pray for all the people switching to the Google Android Platform that they do it fast enough to not be called FANBOYS later on) –Zack Out--

I want the X because my Moto Droid has been the best phone I have ever owned. I've almost worn it out...and that's not a reflection on its quality. I literally use it for so many different things that it is nearly a permanant fixture in my hand. Best of all, I've found apps that help me with my PTSD from the military. One time I left my droid on my desk and had no way to get it until the next morning...I was miserable. Some may find it odd but...my Droid has improved my life more than I can tell you. Silly notion? Maybe but if you were in my shoes...you would understand. Even if I don't win it, I'll have the X eventually. I started saving the day I first read about it.

The media capabilities as well as screen size, processor choice and quality are what makes this device so enticing. Thanks now I have a puddle of drool to clean up on my desk lol.

It's the hottest phone because it's the follow up of the original Motorola Droid. The first one was so successful that people are anticipating another spectacular piece of equipment. And by looking at the specs, I think Motorola will deliever yet once again.

This phone is going to be successful because of its touchscreen. This fits in to what many, many people want as a phone on verizon. Hey, if sprint and t-mobile can have big phones, why can't we? The fact that it has all its powerful features such as hd video and a 1GHz processor strengthens the attraction of the phone even more.

Its the best phone for multiple reasons. It has a super fast processor, a giant gorgreous display, it has great multimedia capabilties, and I think its the top android phone to come out...well for a few months anyway.

Made me make my first post

It's by far the coolest phone I've seen (yay Android) and so cool in fact it brought me out of lurker status and the need for it helped me make my first post.
