Droid to the maX

For the longest time, I've been wanting an iPhone, as I've been a fan apple's products in general. However, I like Verizon better than I like Apple, so I settled for a Blackberry Storm (the original version) almost 2 years ago. Needless to say, that has not worked out as well as I'd originally hoped.

Looking at getting a new phone, I started hearing things about the Android OS and those things were great. All of a sudden, with the release of the Droid X, I think I've actually found a phone that not only matches, but definitely surpasses the iPhone.

I mean, do I really need to go into every single reason why the Droid X is just the best phone on the market? You'd do better to read the reviews and compare them. The results speak for themselves.

The Motorola Droid 1 was my first foray into the world of Android and only my second smartphone. I love my Droid which proves that you don't have to settle for a dumb phone. The Droid X will prove that you MUST NOT settle for a dumb phone.
Can I please have a Droid X?

Hottest phone... because its on the Big Red, you can hold it without losing reception, and anything is better than my BB Tour I still am rocking... I need my DROIDfiX

The Droid X is the hottest phone out there because it's the worm in the Apple!!! Super fast processer, Huge screen (wouldn't have to wear my reading glasses to text), has the best network with the best coverage, also because it's a Motorola (on my 8th Motorola phone-went from Razr to Droid-WOW), you can hold it any way you want and not lose the signal. The Android market is amazing and open (unlike the fruit market) with apps that are incredible. Customizable, upgradeable, HDMI output, 8mp camera, 720p recording! Did I mention the Flash player with the 2.2 update? (Never get that on the Iphone.) My Droid went head to head with an Ipad downloading a You Tube video- Ipad on wireless/Droid on 3g-Guess who won? DROID ROCKS!!! Would LOVE the X because the original is so amazing and I want to be blown away by the newer bigger better model.

If you've seen or heard about this super phone from Motorola then you already know what a monster phone it's going to be this summer!!!

This phone does everything but clean the Kitchen sink...but i'm sure someone will make an app for that

Because im a big technology guy i put phones to the test and this phone looks like it will fulfill my needs email and software wise. i can wait to try out that 4.3 " screen and all that software in this phone.

Currently the Android Operating System is growing faster than the other mobile OS options. Its the newest phone to the market and is following up on Moto's resurgence with the Droid. With all the upgrades that are available - the Droid X will be in higher demand than there is supply for.

Its all about the battery. Oh, and the cpu, and the screen, and...

Because of technology improvements (45nm process) it's faster AND easier on the battery (than other 1GHz processors).

The display is 480P! (854x480) That is 16x9 aspect ratio HD video folks. (Check for yourself if you doubt it.)

At 4.3", the display is better for e-books, better for web browsing, better for GPS navigation..., and way, way better for viewing movies, which there is actually plenty of space for with Gbytes to spare!

Finally, it is built tight.

Everything is better on this phone.

It's bigger, faster, and stronger than anything out right now, this would be the perfect phone to replace my "silent call bug" plagued eris and help me plan my wedding. Verizon won't help me but you guys can.

Besides having the best OS found on a mobile phone, it's the 1GHz TI processor and that great ... BIG ... screen. All housed under Gorilla glass! Oh yeah, that 8GB of OS and app dedicated storage will just have to do.

Put me down for one free (to me) Droid X.

I held the X the other day and it was sooo perfect in my hand. So I'd love to be able to give my Eris to my friend's daughter who just lost her phone in a car accident.

Sweet phone!

Had an opportunity to play with a pre-release of this phone...
The 4.3" screen is fantastic... lots of horsepower, HDMI and 720p video? can't ask for any more in a phone
