I think the Droid X will be one of the hotest phones this year due to a couple things:

Overall good specs for the device
iPhone issues
Droid Incredible Shortage

I'd be glad to have any smartphone but the Droid X is pretty cool because:

I'd be the only one around here who has one,
The screen is huge, which is awesome for apps and web surfing,
and the camera is impressive in quality.

This is the first place I go in the mornings with my cup of coffee...my favorite forum by far!! I would love to have the droid x so I can watch movies, here my new beautiful phone say droid droid droid!! Be able to use my awesome wifi on the go so i can tell you guys how much I love you for letting me when such an awesome phone! I can take awesome pictures of my family and upload them super fast!!! I need a Droid X because I have a completely unsatiable need to keep on the cutting edge of technology. Besides, it's bound to be the official phone of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, which I hope to attend someday after this phone gives me my super powers.

It kicks ass, because it has the best connection between hard- and software.
The Hardware is up2date ( 1GHz CPU, 8MPX, 4,3' Screen ...) and the Software is, for me, the most attractive.
Maybe the phone is a bit big but i dont care

should be fast uopn arrival, then faster upon update, has bigger screen, good reception with verizon, customization, higher memory capacity available, and won't have a wee little slide out keyboard that i can't type on anyways!!! c'mon free droid!!!!

Well its quite obvious why its the hottest phone of the year!!! But the 4.3 inch screen might have a little to do with it, its practically a tablet cause of its size and its still usable as an everyday phone. With its TI omap 3630 1 ghz processor nothing will slow it down. From what I've been reading that processor is way better than the snapdragon. The phone is also very sleek and slim from videos I've been watching it weighs nothing , but yet its so big. When Froyo is available for the Droid X thats it! its over for any other phone on the market even the IPHONE4!!!! In my opinion Motorola used to put out crap now I see them as good as an APPLE or an HTC. Motorola has been pumping out some great products lately.They have come a long way. The Motorola DROID was a huge success. So this one has to be an even Bigger one. I NEED A DROID X!!!!

Why is it better? It's a ton better than my droid Eris with the cracked screen, even without the cracked screen, it's faster, bigger display, and is a true droid, rather than a verizon "I'm gonna call it droid because all our android phones should have droid in the name"

Wow! What can I say? Well the number one thing is that it has the biggest screen and the battery life is better than most smaller screened andoid phones while performing better than any other droid running 2.1!

A real Wow to Droid X

I was really impressed with the r4elad of Droid 1 from motorola, but when reviewing the specs and performance of Droid X as well as the subtle changes to the form factor, all I can say is Wow. It had seemed that HTC might have been overtaking the android market with all the variations on their platform. However, in tthe case of Droid X, it seems they landed on the X-Spot. Extremely nice design. I certainly plan to be replacing my Droid for a Droid X once my contract expires.

It's not a BlackBerry Tour and it's boring, ancient OS like what I'm currently rolling with. Don't get me wrong, lots to love about my BB, but there is something (stealing a line from Stevey boy) magical about the Droid X. And I don't even know what/why. I just gotta have this phone.

The Droid X has a huge screen and the power to back it up. It's also on the the best network, in my opinion. A lot of people will be flocking to the X who wanted the Evo but didn't want to be on Sprint.
