The Droid, Droid Incredible, or Droid X, or wait for the Droid 2 or Samsung Fascinate. It's too hard to decide. Winning one would make it a much easier choice. ;-)

Droid X... a gift for my girlfriend
My gf recently got a Moto droid buy one get one to replace my old one that died. She felt responsible for breaking my old Droid (long story), and while I'm glad to have my Droid back, she doesn't like it and is stuck with it. If I got this, then she could use it and I'd have a spare Droid!

I have been contemplating moving off of Blackberry onto Android, and I thought the HTC Droid Incredible was it, but the screen on this blows that away. With the 1ghz processor, it will run alot faster than my Storm and I have been dying to have a native browser that loads quickly, and a decent amount of app memory. With the Storm 1, I don't have much room for apps.
This will be my first Droid and I'm excited to have a huge screen and longer battery life. Coming from a pre plus, it will be a huge improvment all while sticking with the Verizon network! Overall cant wait until Thursday 
The Droid X is the xtreme Android. Which Xplodes all the Xeno-wonderful emotions of uniqueness that one wants in a personality defining technological device.
i would love to move out of the eris into something with a little more leg room (a girl has gotta have leg room!). all that screen and processing availability would make my day so much better and a lot less of a fight. the increase in speed means more fun for me and less work trying to navigate between screens. id be able to enjoy fun and games on the go, snap crazy pics on the go and not have to worry them being fuzzy (yay for summer!), and id be able to enjoy more android!! itd be awesome to be able to whip out my droid x and have to explain to everyone what is it and show off the features of the shiny new toy 
I wish I could get the Droid X, considering I just change phones so fast, its hard to believe I want to do it again. I had the Droid, which I loved, but I hated the physical keyboard. I could never use it. Then I got the Incredible. I love this phone. Its fast and snappy, sense is pretty cool. Great that is has no physical keyboard. So maybe if i could win, I would have 3 different phones in less then one year, hell less then 9 months! Got the Droid launch day, got the Incredible launch day and those were what like 6 months apart?
What attracts me about the Droid X?
-Multitouch keyboard
-Large screen
-Dual antennas(pretty sure it stated it had this)
-HDMI out
-like how it has red highlights instead of the standard orange or sense green, red is my fav color(I started theming my incredible with some files from the Droid X)
Hell I just love new technology. I hope I win, my friend could use a new phone, I'd hook him up with my dInc, his moto droid got really messed up and he has no insurance

Because the next Droid will be too large to fit in my pocket.. Love the screen, the proc, and the combination of Android and Verizon is unbeatable. Oh, and my Droid has a busted screen and I would love a free replacement. Cheers!
Great Review. Impressive X. Now that my aging Touch Pro is failing rapidly, I'm ready to upgrade to dInc or dX. I THINK (hope?) I'll be able to live without physical keyboard.
I've been a loyal WinMo user for 10 years (remember the clamshell Jornada 720?) but MS has not kept up the software development like Apple and Google. I'm getting more into open source platforms so I'm ready to switch over to Android.
I can't decide between the dX and the dInc: I have the Incredible on order through corporate, but they're telling me it's backordered, so I may wind up switching to X due to timing more than anything. The X seems like a slight step up, but I'm not sure I want the bigger size. Will that thing really fit in a pocket??? Incredible didn't feel too big in Verizon store when I played with the UI: it seemed very responsive and intuitive, and comfortable in the hand.
How much of Incredible's UI is Android and how much is Sense UI overlay? How different will the X's UI be? IN WHAT WAYS?
X seems to have advantage in battery life, but that can be fixed with purchase of an extended battery.
Any other deal-breakers?

Because it is going to be the number 1 device on the market, not just android, but of all smartphones! Not only that it will be on the best wireless network in the country, what more can you ask??
I really thought this phone would be an iPhone-killer. However the new glass and stupid antenna did that. So maybe this phone will kill the sorrow that has lived in my heart for two years...due to a Storm1.
Wow - love this phone! I tried a demo model at the store. It is Android and beats the iPhone IMO and completely takes away my envy of the iPad. Add that it is a phone and data is usable anywhere - then it beats all other comers hands down. Good luck to me for winning! Someone is going to be VERY happy when this announced. Fingers crossed.
