Why this phone is HOT

As a former blackberry owner, I noticed all the complaints of newer phones (Tour then Tour2/Bold 9650) within 8-12 months.

Verizon just launched the Incredible, had huge delays due to production, and is now poised to launch The Droid X. Not much complaining by the "would be" Incredible owners.

This phone will be fast, and hae features that woul lead many to leave their laptops, netbooks and iPods at home or the office and STILL remain productive.


This phone with the right software from the market, would allow me to easily respond to client request while on the go!

After getting my Motorola Droid in March, it is the best smart phone I have every used. The Droid X looks to be that much better!!!!! I would love to get this phone now, but my next updgrade is over a year away!

Bigger is Better

Obviously BIGGER is BETTER in life. The Droid X, is BIGGER and therefore BETTER. You know, it?s like...... how do I put this delicately..... Processing Speed ? the bigger/more you have the better off you are.

The droid X is my choice?.. Only if they called it the Moto Droid XL?.

What makes the Droid X rock? The larger screen, the kick a-- processor, HDMI out? All of that plus being oh so much closer to the goodness that is Froyo. The included 16GB card doesn't hurt either..

The Droid X is the best phone out there this year because of its big and i mean BIG screen, 8gb internal memory, pretty much because of all its specs its a hot phone, but also the name makes it great xD Droid X makes me want it so much the X makes me want it so much one just cause it sounds cool and two cause i graduated in 2010 and our symbol was the X so i want the Droid X cause i have personal attachments to the name xD

Its a motorola! I have been a fan of Motorola phones for years. The X is just the newest quality build that we all grew to love in the moto world.
This phone will "X" Apples world, and this comes from a long time apple fan.
I do not qualify for an upgrade, and I dont have the money, so I need this!
Android Central Rocks just for doing this!

Droid X

The Motorola Droid X is an entertainment machine ready for anything in its path. This is a true High Definition experience device. Unlike the iPhone4 the Droid X has an impressive 4.3'' high resolution screen that is stunning and will take your breath away. Did I mention the antenna situation? Love the fact that you can hold this phone in your left hand and still make phone calls. Can't wait for this device to come out! Oh and of course the VZW network is unlike any other. I have a "refurbished" Motorola Droid that Verizon gave me in place of my other one that died on me. Have had nothing but problems with this pre owned device. It sux because my original Droid was awesome! Winning the Droid X would help my problems out sooo much !!!

As a somewhat new visitor to the site, some of the technicalities behind the X are foreign to me. I have been a longtime Sprint customer since I was 16 as has my entire family. What drew me to the Droid was simply seeing my friend over the months using it. Smart phones were foreign to me, all I knew was what the Itouch was capable of. Seeing a phone operate out from underneath the umbrella of Apple piqued my interest, and when I saw the X announced, I look into it and loved what I saw. It's perhaps the most modern phone that is out there, with the capability for flash where Apple dragged its feet. Rather than choosing to redesign its model with few improvements like Apple has chosen to do, the X contains virtually every improvement that is out there. Swype, 8 camera, flash capable, the phone has it all. And although my phone from Sprint died last week, I have been without a phone just so I could score the X when it was released, and switch networks. The phone is different in that it made virtually every upgrade that was possible, whereas other companies will try to milk cash out of the customer by withholding on features and improvements that the X has not.

Droid X is the biggest, baddest phone on the Verizon network. It has the largest screen, the fastest processor, a new interface that still maintains the look and feel of Android. Resizable widgets, and improved battery performance. And it has the DRRROOOIIIDDD tone. Awesome!
