Need to Win the Droid X

Back in Sept. I went to renew my contract with Verizon. I asked the sales person "So I hear Verizon is getting an Android phone, can you tell me when this is happening?" and she looked at me like I was crazy. She said she didn't even know when that was. So I got the Rogue and signed a 2 year deal... Now as you know you have 30 days to return the phone. Well something like 5 weeks later Verizon announced that it would be adding an Android phone to their lineup... D'oh! So now I am stuck with this until May 2011. I can take the early upgrade in Sept but I will end up paying way more. Please I NED this phone I have the WORST case of Android Envy!

The Droid X will be the hottest phone of the year because of its timing and availability. Unlike the HTC Incredible, I believe (hope) that Motorola will have a much higher stock ready to be shipped.

Therefore, more people will actually be able to get their hands on one. The HTC Incredible is an amazing device, however the hype was kinda killed by the fact it's almost impossible to get one.

Verizon is one of (if not the) biggest baddest networks around, having such an amazing phone with good availability will seal the deal as the best phone of 2010.

I currently have the Droid, but my coworker just got a new iPhone and keeps rubbing it in my face. The new Droid X would be nice to rub back in his face

Honestly... the screen size. That is the biggest thing I think that takes it over the competition. Plus soon to have Froyo, you can't go wrong with either! I also want that micro HDMI.

The new Droid X

My wife desperately needs to upgrade from her broken down Curve 8330 and since she is in love with my incredible but can't get one of her own. (back ordered and all) I would like to win this for her, because she will love this even more.

I want this phone because it is the best android phone available. The screen size, although comparable to the EVO 4g is a better fit in the hand. The phone also screams with speed and having verizon as the background network makes it all worth it. In rural America where I live, the only real option is big red, and this is the best there is.

And it is 100 degrees here, I have no air-conditioning, and my wife is 7 months pregnant...

I would have to say that the screen real estate makes it the hottest phone of the year. Big screens make it easier to type on soft keyboards, meaning that physical keyboards will soon go the way of 3.5" floppy drives!
