Droid X is the best phone right now, because it has a big beautiful screen and a screaming fast processor. It blows the BB storm out of the water, which unfortunately is the phone I have now. The web browser and camera are also arguably the best. Lets hope I win.

From Incredible to X

Two reasons I'd like to win the Droid X:

I lead social media projects for IBM's consulting organization, Global Business Services, so am already using a Droid Incredible to experiment with mobile projects, such as http://smarterleaders.mobi.

Also, I am tremendously impressed with my first Droid experience, and hope to expand it by understanding the range of possibilities with new models like the Droid X. What I am most interested in learning is how screen size affects the realm of the possible.

For example, I just started using the Kindle app for my Incredible, and it is quite appealing. Would a slightly bigger screen make e-book reading more compelling?

Because it is one of the few "huge" smartphones I have ever seen that is actually comfortable to hold and pocket!

I'm loving that big screen real estate. It's probably as close to a tablet that you can get without being a tablet. Regardless of how big it is, I'll find a way to get it in a pocket!
Plus, I've always been quite happy with motorola's audio quality on its phones.

Whats not love about this phone?! Its a pocket tablet that runs the fastest growing mobile OS in the entire world on a wonderful network like Verizon! I won't win but hey someone else will! So congrats to the winner!

On a friends test unit the screen was so large I got lost in it. I'd love to have more time (read: my own Droid X) to be able to not get lost in the largeness of the screen.

Droid X is NOT the hottest phone. It may be the current "it" device but the droid 2 will kick the pants off of it. Find a more honest review/opinion and I'll give you(AC) a Droid X

Like what everyone else says...where do i start...? lol

-Massive screen. Excellent. Makes things easier in general. Typing is easier, browsing experience is better, photos, videos, all better (16:9 ratio ).
-Gorilla glass makes it very hard to scratch/damage
-1 GHz processor makes it snappy and fast
-Customizable widgets! The resizing and all is pretty cool.
-Looks slick
-8 MP camera, great for taking photos on the go without bringing a point and shoot
-720p video recording. Damn.
-HDMI port. Would be awesome if I could play my videos on a nice, big TV everybody can enjoy
-Got it's own GPU. Great for gaming.
-Comes with Swype
