The Droid X is the hottest phone because it's even better than my beloved Droid. This thing is gonna blow the iPhone 4 out of the water. I'd love to win one since I can't get the upgrade price until next summer.

This will be one of the hottest phones of the year because it will be the best phone on the best carrier (in most places) with the best power uses. It will make everyone jealous (sorry, including Evo and Incredible users for the most part). Because of its size it will keep me from buying a tablet for another year or so. The media capabilities will be awesome. If it is done correctly (crossing my fingers!) you can sit at home, jump on your wifi and watch Hulu and a bunch of other stuff over your network through DLNA - or hook it up through HDMI and watch it on your TV, without Boxee or XBMC (can you tell I don't have Cable?). Check out Playon (hopefully they will be releasing an Android app later this year). Can't wait to test all this stuff out and report back here. Have been listening to the Podcast for a month or so now and I'm hoping to become an Android user and (AC forum poster) this week (coming from a TP2 and an avid ppcgeeks forum guy hokking up roms, etc.). Also, I know someone who works for Google on Android (through a friend of a friend), so if you guys hook me up I might be able to dig up some dirt! Keep it real and thanks everybody!
the droid x is the hottest phone on the market bc it is backed by the most reliable network. the hdmi capabilities along with the hd recording make this phone more of a computer in your pocket than a phone

The Droid X's haptic feedback is superior to any other phone I've ever used. The entire phone seems to resonate as though it's made of one piece rather than several pieces. Not only does it appear to indicate quality construction, but it also feels a bit weird which might discourage unauthorized individuals from molesting my phone.
This phone is the beast because it will bring users that would not normal use a virtual keyboard a freaking huge screen that makes the virtual keyboard a lot more usable, it has an awesome GPU that will blaze through anything that cam be thrown through it. The camera and HD video recording will be capable of replacing a lot of folks point and shoot cameras. Im sure there are a lot of other reasons that is is the it, but thats all I can think of....

Droid X is simply the best phone to come out this year for a couple reasons first it is on Verizon, in my opinion this phone will beat the EVO in sales for the simple fact that Verizon and Motorola have already marketed a great brand with the first Droid. EVO does have the 4G network but it is limited and not ereywhere and you still have to pay the premium for it per month. Looking foward to seeing this phone in action I am even going to the store on launch day just to play around with it even though I will not be able to get one until Dec when my new every two runs out.
It has the perfect recipe of ingredients! 1 part Motorola, 1 part Verizon, 1 part Android, 1 part HDMI output, 1 part 8MP camera, 1 part 1ghz processor and 1 part big mama screen! What isn't there to like about this phone? Oh and Swype preloaded? It's a no-brainer!
I think its the best of the year due to its screaming processor and huge screen! I would love to get my hands on it!
Motorola came out with the first Android based phone on Verizon. The Droid X is Motorola kicking it up another notch. It's got Power, It has an amazing screen, it does HDMI out, and HD Video capture. For the money it's the best possible phone you can get on Verizon right now. It's the perfect Android phone. The phone to knock that HTC Incredible off it's stand.
Because it has features that people will use that other phones on Verizon do not yet. Such as the size of the screen, the ability to HDMI out and the HD Video recording. As well as no "Blur"
Why I need a Droid X
The number one reason I really need a Droid X is....
I work on very loud tugboats and sometimes it can very difficult for my family (wife & kids) to hear me on my current cell phone. The Droid X has 3 microphone and one of them is for noise cancelling. From the reviews I've read it works very well.
Another other reasons I need a Droid X is for staying connected to the family. I am away from them for long periods of time.
And lastly I need it for media...music, video and news. I can load music/videos on it, and the big screen would work great for that.

motorola device with android was a success before, now this motorola device with android will change the game again this summer. droid x will be epic.
I think the speed, reception,screen size, and battery life are going to be the huge draws of this phone
This is one insane device. Physically it towers above all others and once it gets 2.2 Froyo, it will be unstoppable.
