I need this phone because my Moto Droid has this useless physical keyboard. I want a phone that has a processor that comes stock at 1 ghz and not over clocked. Plus that 4.3 inch screen?! That will out do my girlfriends iphone!

I love this phone! This is what I have been waiting for since I was a kid in the 70's. Big beautiful screen, powerful processor, hopefully good battery life. With Motorola quality, this could be the best phone ever built!

Of all the Android manufacturers, Motorola is the only one doing it right. They use TI OMAP processors in their high end phones which are proven to be way better than anything Qualcomm can make. The graphics chip is faster, the process size is smaller and more efficient, and the screen isn't a cheated resolution like the nexus one.
Motorola is a struggling company, unlike Samsung who sells their buggy, useless phones off brand recognition and HTC who sells their buggy, faulty phones off pure spec numbers.

with the 1ghz processor it will blow away every other phone ever made! it will turn the iphone4 in to a $700 paper weight that will make you want to throw it off the wall every time you see/ use it.
The Droid X is the hottest smartphone because I will use its huge screen and spacious virtual keyboard to write a science fiction short story about the heroic warrior robot DroidXavier doing galactic battle with the evil and arrogant Emperor J'teve Sobs and his Galactic Fruit Empire.
The story ends with a dramatic confrontation between good and evil. After a failed launch of his premiere galactic weapon, the iDeathSphere4, J'teve Sobs weeps venomous tears over the schematics of his superweapon, trying to decide how the iDeathSphere4's fatal flaw could have gotten past his evil galactic engineers (for all its power, if the pilot touched the steering yolk to direct the deathray, the entire battle-station lost power and could only function as a very expensive calculator).
"If only he had avoided touching it in that way!" J'teve Sobs will cry!

The Droid X is going to be awesome. The 1 ghz OMAP processor is going to blow all the other phones out of the water.
The swype keyboard is gonna make texting a breeze on the huge 480X854 4.3 inch screen.
The 8MP camera combined with a fast mechanical shutter (1/1000), panoramic mode, face detection, slow motion capture, time lapse capture, and the directional audio capture (3 microphones to focus on the audio emitting from the person your recording and minimize background noise) will be a beast for taking photos and recording 720p video.
The HDMI port will be cool for watching home movies on the big screen, too bad you can't use it for all the movies you can download off of the blockbuster app or the tv shows you can download off of PrimeTime2go (which both sadly have monthly fees).
The 3G mobile hotspot allowing you to use your 3G coverage on up to 5 devices is cool, but its $20 extra a month and is only 2GB of usage before you get slapped with overage charges.
The "Ninjablur" UI by motorola should make social networking convenient, plus you can customize all of the widgets to make them smaller or bigger, it actually let's you make it whatever size you want, not just small, medium and large widgets. Its a huge improvement over the original motoblur.
If your into business email you'll be happy to know that it pushes corporate email, remote wipe and PIN code enforcement for Exchange email helps keep your corporate email secure, and the unified callender pulls both work and personal events together for convenience.
The 8GB internal memory will be more than enough to hold all of your apps (until android 2.2 is released for it) and the preloaded 16GB card for even more memory.
The 7 homescreens will make the droid X extra customizable, and the new battery manager in the settings menu should make the battery life awesome.
It being on verizon is good too because of their great coverage.
The phone is huge and might be a turnoff for people with small hands, but it feels fine in the pocket, and the bump where the camera is on the back doesn't make anything uncomfortable.

Next in a long line of better
I have used the iPhone 3GS, G1, ERIS and Moto Droid and each time it gets better. Everything from the quality of the screen to the speed of the processor and the functional interface. I use it as a handheld email device for work and personal accounts, GPS in the car, Google Voice interface, entertainment and modem for the few times I still have to take out my laptop. I am ready for the faster processor combined with new OS. I am practically drooling.
The main reason is that I missed getting one verizon gave away in Houston by no more than 60 seconds. Ultimate heartbreak.

Lets face it people, Apple is trying to take over the world. All these iphones are controlling peoples lives. Now they have cameras on the front of them so Steve Jobs can spy on you and your family whenever he wants to. It's just sick and wrong. Apple is trying to brainwash everyone so that once everyone has a fancy iphone, they can rule the world as a whole.
Here's where Android steps in allowing people to customize their phones, wallpapers, contacts, colors, different programs and widgets and things that work fine. So what if there are a few bugs here and there. A cell phone is not your entire life, and if you cannot function a day without it...well there is something wrong with you my friend. Now notice the iphone holders. They only have one button to press, the same style phone just spiced up a little here and there. They even made the iphone4 slightly bigger, and purposely made the 3g and wifi antennas close so you'd HAVE to buy a new case from them. Face it, don't let Apple take over. Be different. Wether its an Android, Blackberry, Windows, or whatever. Dont you want to stand out?
Btw, that Droid X will put to shame the iphone4. Because its not the same old boring iphone that everyone has.

The droid will be the hottest phone of the year being that it has massive screen and a 8 mp camera with 720 hd recording. Also the phone is able to be held in both hands lol unlike the iphone and will be ridiculously fast...this phone will take droid to a whole new level...gotta love it!!!

I was an early adopter of the Palm Pre Plus and saw that as their #1 launch sales problem. Well, besides the constant keyboard and memory handling problems that they promised to fix in an update. Long story short, on my third Pre Plus and it needs replaced too.
The viral marketing for this phone is awesome, it gets people interested, but doesn't throw all the information out there for them to see right off the bat. It makes you want to go look up the phone. That gets people seeking information and talking about it. 3 of my friends and I are planning on having this phone by mid-August. Only one of us currently uses android, we have all been watching it for a while.
It also has something the EVO 4G doesn't have, Verizon's network and customer base. The early upgrade promotion that is said to be launching with the phone will also pull more customers in.
This phone has Motorola quality, EVO 4G size, a new processor, 24Gigs storage starting, and the Verizon network. The real question is how can it NOT be the hottest phone of the year.
