Yes, this is an awesome phone, but it wouldn't be half of what it will be without Verizon, so the Network is the thing that will make this device soar. Plus, I tend to enjoy holding my phone in my left hand!

The Droid X is the hottest Smartphone of the year because it incorporates the hottest mobile OS, Android, with a speedy 1ghz processor that simply blows my mind. To put the icing on the (green) cake, it has stunningly beautiful 8mp camera with 3 mics for top of the line audio capture. Its physical buttons help prevent unwanted actions from taking place. Its massive screen allows for seamless texting, emailing, facebooking, and most importantly twittering. Its what the people want, and its what the people will get. This phone just might replace my digital camera if it lives up to its name. The Droid X. Because simply put, nothing else matters.

This phone is ridiculously awesome. it takes the Look and durability from the OG Droid but has the almost the same goodies as the Evo. If the Droid and the Evo had a love child this phone would be it. The only downside is no bootloader but im sure one of the rocket scientist over at XDA will come up with something they always do, and Android Central will definitely let us know. This is the fist phone that i have even considered to replace my droid.

It's more incredible than the incredible and once it gets the 2.2 update it will be the fastest phone on the market. It's not always about the listed speed of the processor but also about the quality of the processor. Texas Instruments is a very quality brand that produces genuine technology. I live an hour and 45 mins away from Buffalo and I drove up there and called all of my friends from there to try and get the free one just given away yesterday.....but I was unsuccessful. Hopefully my luck will change here at Android Central.

I want this phone because I had an iphone and i have been living with a crappy phone. I want this phone so bad because of the 4.3 '' screen and the 1GHz processor. I made a deal with my dad if i win, i can switch to verizon if i loose if get the iphone 4. I dont want it though

I think the Droid X is the hottest phone of the year because there is one helluva marketing campaign pushing the phone.

Brainwashing aside, the phone specs speak for themselves; huge touchscreen, speedy processor, 8MP 720p camera/video (hello, better than anything I have stand-alone!). I drool looking at this phone, and I thought my DROID was the shizzle before!

If I ask real nice, would you pick me? Pretty please with sugar on top?
