Rob, i'm still learning myself. The beauty of the honeycomb image, is that the mesh itself is considered grey scale. A neutral color Combing the right effects, with blending options will give you exactly what you want.

A quick not before leaving for the hospital...

To get the 3D effect for text, double click the text layer in the layer palette. Try applying Bevel options, gradient options, etc.

To change the color of the cells without effecting the outside mesh, go to the select menu -> Color Range, select the color you want to change. Now click the half black/half white circle in the layers palete and add a Selective Color or a Hue/Suturation adjustment layer. The layer will get a mask based on the selection you made. Slide the sliders and see what happens.

I'd like to work on the PSP request, but it will be a while...maybe someone will beat me to is. I have a procedure to remove a kidney stone and will be offline for a few days. (Was in last week too which is why my reply, on the spidey image, took so long.

I had already seen the gallery, just didn't know if you had all of them in a zip as I want all of them on my phone and didn't want to hafta right click/save each one, if not that's cool too.

I prepared a 7Z file containing all the wallpapers. 175 pics. It excludes some of the honeycomb images that would not load at full resolution. My guess is, the wrong ones are being linked.
Those who want the 7Z/Zip file, pm me your email, and we can talk about how to share the 60Mb archived file. I can't email something that large. And you probably can't accept such a large attachment. Have to use a file host.

Just to chime in on the whole photoshop topic. I use to be a huge fan and user of photoshop and illustrator and was damn good at it, but with every new release the UI would change and so many other things that I started to fall behind. Now days I just use Gimp (Free Open Source Software) and it get's the job done, especially with there being so many tutorials and add ons out there.

Rob, you're not an idiot. We each excel in one area while perhaps not in another. I'm sure there's something you're good at, that would make me jealous. I'm no genius. I simply have a lot of time, and an unnatural amount of patience. As i've said, I use photoshop everyday. Lets just say I have to A business practice requires it Photoshop has become second nature to me.

Yep, I'll try to use the graphics you did...I have an idea in mind, but will take a couple days I think.

The procedure didn't go so well. I got home at noon and was back in the hospital by 2PM. I was released this morning again, but don't really feel up to doing much.
