Android or Samsung Pay?

Excited since tomorrow starts over the Samsung Pay points earnings. I maxed out last month at 55 transactions so I could still use it after that it jist didn't count towards the points.

I've just switched to a S8 Plus, and was about to figure out Android Pay or Samsung Pay.

Well, Capital One doesn't support Samsung Pay. So, Android Pay it is. I hope is works well and at quite a few places like my Apple Pay did...

Have you tried loading your card to Samsung Pay? Either one of them will work well. You'll get more places that you can use the Samsung Pay card but if you can't use Samsung Pay, Android Pay works quite well. I've used both.

How does the Android pay work? Samsung not an alternative but I know it is most widely accepted. Does Android pay work as well?

There's limit on how many times you can use the same card, I have an chase Freedom credit card I have it added on my s8 and gear s3 and tried to as it to my S7 but couldnt called chase and said it can only be registered to 2 devices at the same time, I think most cards have some type of limit like that

In my experience on my LG V20, Android Pay worked very well. You just unlock the phone and hold it up to the terminal and payment goes through. It works anywhere that accepts mobile payments. Not sure where you live but I live in tiny little Vermont in a small town and I found that Android Pay worked at all the grocery stores, pharmacies, hardware stores, etc.. I was surprised since I'm in such a small section of the country. I actually prefer just unlocking my phone with Android to pay over swiping up from the lock screen, placing my fingerprint on the sensor with Samsung Pay. Samsung Pay is qucker if you're switching between cards frequently though.

Has anyone got Samsung Pay to work at Walmart? I can get it to work everywhere but there.
You have to change the payment type. And you have to stop the clerk from touching the twister before your ready. Wal-Mart is actively interfering with in order to prevent Samsung Pay I order to force you to use their app Walmart pay. Which means you habe to give them your credit and debit card info in advance.

I shoped at Wal-Mart today and it was just like any other transaction with SP on my Gear S3, painless and simultaneous no problem

I used the self check out at Wal Mart today and had to try about 4 times with my Gear S3 before it finally went through, and I processed it as a cc transaction.

I have been using SP for a few weeks but have only used it about 15 times this month. I tried it today at Applebee's at the pad they have on the table where you can check out on your own and it didn't work. I tried it several times and had to eventually take my card out and swipe it. I'm wondering if I was not putting the phone in the correct spot or too close as I was touching the swipe area.

Also I keep my NFC on all the time. Is that not needed since I use the swipe? If I turn off NFC will it work when I used the tap to pay when that option is available?

Also I was able to use it a brand new Wawa that just opened as they had the tap to pay option at their pumps so that was nice. I wish all gas pumps would have that as an option.

I leave NFC on all the time too. Doesn't affect my phone or Gear S3 for payments.

Usly Middle of were you swipe the card works good, no need to touch the reader just close.
All the tap and pay at the pumps were I buy gas are not working yet bummer

I'm probably the only one that hasn't tried sp. Lol

If I can't get it to work somewhere, do I then just swipe my cc and that works ok without canceling sp?
