Android Pay is disabled on LG Watch Sport after upgrading to Wear 2.0.0.171531626

I've just upgraded from a previous version of Wear 2.0 to 2.0.0.171531626 (Build Number OWR1.170919.023), and every time I want to use Android Pay, I have to enable the App first. After using it to purchase something, the App gets automatically disabled again.

Has anyone experience this?

Android Pay has worked well for 4 months prior to this upgrade.

I have exactly the same issue. I suspect it has something to do with there being no Android Pay supporting wear devices being sold in Australia (where I am located). I imported the LG Watch Sport which worked fine until the recent OS update.

I have logged the issue with Android and will let you know if I hear anything back.
 
I suspect that it is a security 'feature' that has been implemented that they will not reverse. There is no way to downgrade to previous firmware either :(

Time will tell though I guess.
 
I have exactly the same issue since the last update. Android Pay was very useful on the watch and one of the main reasons I purchased it. So I hope it is sorted very soon
