Android S6 Edge. Screen is black with blinking blue light. How can I fix it?

This happened to me either... samsung needs to fix this issue or they're gonna lose lots of client including me who's been loyal with them ever since!

I have had to do this twice, hold the two buttons didn't effect data or photos.

Have you found a solution to it. i have a smilar problem. my screen is off like a tv tuned off but functions properly. even touch screen working since i can pick calls but no display on phone. i have tried the volume keys trick. it restarts n reboots alright but no display still i only hear the sounds..

worked for me.... holding power button and volume up button for 5-6 seconds ... its back on..

Well, in my S6, sometimes I get the black flashing screen but no blue led. It only stops when I press the power button for 3 seconds.
Anyone knows this issue?

Found the same problem with blue light flashing in middle of the night.

I just got my Samsung s6 yesterday and I am having this problem. The power button and volume down restart works to turn the phone back on but the problem isn't stopping. It keeps turning off, I tried the notification settings and will wait to see if it happens again.

I was having same issue and couldn't figure out why. I have Gmail but dont use it. Didnt have any notifications telling me i had new E-mails. Turned off the notifications for Gmail n the blue light is off.

I got same problem on S6, my display suddenly stopped working while phone was in pocket, after 1 long vibrate following by 1 short. blue led was at rate of 1 blink/ sec. tried everything mentioned above, no result. now from the smart switch, initializing the phone and the software.

(while trying to restart holding hardware buttons, phone use to sound the welcome tone twice, no display)

Any suggestions?

I had to hold down the power + down volumes buttons which brings up several options. I chose the first one (boot normally). My phone rebooted and is now working. Nothing else worked.

My Galaxy Note is having same problem blue indicator blinking and screen is black out

i tried
Method 1. removing battery and pressing the power button
and
Method 2. Pressing power button and volume down button simultaneously.

Both methods did not work for me anything else which i can try??

Hi! Experiencing the same issue - new phone and it's completely unresponsive - black screen with blue header (Chinese?) Have held down all the buttons and it won't turn off to restart... have tried everything

I have exactly same problem , when i turn on the phone , i can see the logo GALAXY S6 and then screen is dark + notification led is always blue ..... i have tried all ways which you have written here , but nothing works .... any other solution ? Cheers

The blinking blue light has nothing to do with the screen problem. The blue LED indicates notifications of messages from others.

I tried it but it won't go off it's still black screen with a blue light blinking every 5 seconds.
