Annoying wifi scanning popup wont stop

I have the same issue. I have the Huawei Honor 9 Lite and it started about a few hours ago once all my apps were updated via a wifi network. I have restarted my phone, switched my wifi on and off and still the messages pop up every 5 minutes. Most annoying thing ever.

My phone is continuously showing Turn on Wifi Scanning pop up... Even though i've turn it ON in "Scan Settings" - > "Wifi Scanning". But every time i unlock my phone, it pops up again. It's quite annoying!

Same here on my Honor 9 after EMUI update. Turning off WLAN+ temporarily helped, but it's back now

Ive try the solution but the message still pop up.plus i cant uninstall updates on google play service....any other solutions to try?

My phone started to show the wifi thing after the new update with GPU turbo. Hope they fix this soon. Honor V10.

Update: just down loaded latest Google Play Services and, so far, the pop up has gone!

This issue has been fixed with the latest software update which I guess Huawei released last night.. Anyways the issue is resolved now. Please update your phone. It should resolve the issue.

Hi, today I started getting a popup message which read

'by turning on WiFi scanning, apps and services can scan for WiFi networks at any time, even When WiFi is off.'

I proceeded to turn WiFi scanning off but message won't stop appearing every 5-10min.

Restarted my phone and it still kept happening.

Phone is a Huawei mate 10 pro.
Never had this message till today. Haven't installed any new apps today.

Any ideas why this may be happening?

Try Navigating to Settings - > Location Setting - > More Settings (3dot) - > Scan Settings - > Dis-Select WiFi and Bluetooth

This notification is a navigational notification which alerts user that WiFi might switch on without users consent for enhancement of location precision.

It's actually a bug because this is not supposed to happen every time you unlock the phone. I updated Google Play Services and my phone and the issue seems to be resolved. Turning Wi-Fi+ on and off also seems to have helped some users.

Same thing going around here with my mate 9. I wrote an email to Huawei Product &Technical Support but they haven't answered yet. If this annoying issues doesn't get fixed I'll have to go ape **** crazy in the local service center.

Turning off Wi-Fi+ solved the problem instead of uninstalling google play service updates!!
