Hey fellas,my 5th Rezound took a dump on me yesterday,my question is,when I call the warranty center r they gonna ask for software numbers on my phone?the reason I ask is that im running the latest ics leak,I'm not rooted or anything just flashed it over.any suggestions will be appreciated.Should I call the warranty center or is there another center that handles situations for people burning thru phones?

Yeah,I no longer have any sound for incoming texts or calls.did a factory reset,pulled sim,did all the stuff they r gonna ask me to do.(obviously use to this).they won't say nothing about the ics flash I take it?

I can honestly say that I have never sent or taken back a phone, outside my first one, that wasnt altered in some way. Never had a charge.

Yeah I reflashed it twice,followed by two factory resets,the speaker doesn't work either whenever I put someone on speaker phone,its got to b a hardware issue.

Seems like after 5 phones that have failed, you can make a very good case for not wanting them to send you yet another Rezound... you might be able to get a Sammy GIII (it might be a refurb but at this point, what do you have to lose?)
I really do miss my rezound. After mine went bad( fourth one) vzw sent ,
Me a razr Maxx which I hated. Went to the corp store talked to the rep, opened a new line of service, sold the Maxx back to them at the store and had them transfer the sg3 to my line. All in all after the buy back, I paid 70.00 for the sg3. Have to relearn a new phone but it was worth it.

I'm paying 9.99 a month for it. They put a dummy phone that does not require data. I will use it as an upgrade line. So I will have upgrades available if when another phone comes out . I cancelled a line that I was not using last month that I was paying data on so I figured why not , still paying less than I was, and by doing it that way I was allowed to keep my unlimited data on my main line.

I was gonna try but if you check out the sg3 forum, Vz doesn't have the refurbs in stock. I really could not tolerate the Maxx, and was thinking about just keeping the Rez, but when rep offered me the buy back, and I did the calculations, I was like yep sign me up. Just hope my husband doesn't ask about the new line, as he knew we had just cancelled one lol.
yeah and they wont do it right now anyway. It takes a couple of months after the phone is released to get them to do it.

Love it !!!!!! He already doesn't understand why I actually need a phone that does more than make calls. He has a bb that is so old....
My wife was the same way. She had a flip phone that I had to pry out her hands to get her to move up. Actually she would still be using it if one of the dogs hadnt used it for a chew toy.
