any ad blocker for CHROME MOBILE for google pixel XL?

I've read that the sideloaded Adguard for Android is quite the battery hog. Anybody using it care to shed light on that?

Had it for 3 days. No effect on battery to date.

My OEM battery monitor puts Adguard at 8%, second behind screen use. Gsam lists it at 14.3%, second behind "combined app CPU" (whatever that means).

In either case, my time between charges hasn't seemed to change much that I can tell.

I've used Brave for a while. Great Chromium build with built-in ad blocking.

Google already has a Canary release of Chrome with ad blocking. Only a matter of time before it makes it's way to beta then GA. Interesting that Google is getting into the ad blocking business.
