Any EB13 Users get the OTA update to EC05? Post here!

I bought a Samsung Instinct for my son. What a lousy lousy phone. Just to punish myself still more, I then bought a Samsung Moment for me and when the Epic came out, gave the Moment to my wife and got the Epic. I have this thing for misery.

I had the Instinct... boy do I feel your pain... Samsung's track record leaves a bit to be desired, doesn't it...

I WILL say though that MAN, they can make some awesome TVs... and I'm loving my laptop from them as well...

Please tell me you had EB13 and not DI18 before the update.

I got the update notice early this morning, Fri 3-25-11, after the date it was supposed to finish, all went perfect and everything is working great. Finally now have Skype running and it works great. If you haven't received it yet it looks like they are going beyond the original 4 days so hang in there.

I've been checking up on these forums for the last few days hoping to read those magical words... I'm EB13 without the update as of now (San Antonio TX)

Almost 10 pm and still no update. I tried to manually check and there's nada. Hopefully it'll come soon. I'm patient enough as I installed EB13 but I'm hoping EC05 fixes some of the bugs (like video camera).
I didn't hear anything about that in the forums though. :-/

Were you on OTA EB13 or manual EB13?

All you have to do is take 5min and flash back to D18 through Odin and you'll get the udpates in 10min. It's really that simple. I just did folks.

Somebody FINALLY posted what was being asked. That he had EB13 and got the EC05 OTA.

Read this before you post in this thread:
What we want to know is if you had EB13 Froyo and got EC05. Hence the thread title. If you don't know what you had before OR you had Di18, PLEASE POST your good news in one of the other threads.

Say something like this: "I had EB13 and just got the EC05 OTA..."

I'm eb13 no update...I feel bad for the countless unhappy people... I don't have any issues wit eb13 what soever..got my update from samsung website and am iffy wether I should restore my phone just to get sprint id and something b wrong with it..

I haven't recived the ec05 yet on my eb13 but my buddy and his girl did and i had upgraded them to eb13 with the upgrade off samsungs site
