My wife and I both have not received the EC05 update and are both running EB13. We both have received a notification from Sprint Zone yesterday saying an update would be coming soon (in other words I'm not holding my breath for it to be pushed to phones with EB13)

I too have gotten texts all week. Thursday I kept getting an error message from noon til 9pm. it was something like error 063(63??) wrong username and password, blah, blah.
Also was given a ticket# to go to Sprint Store, the tech had no idea what i was talking about, nor the software names.

Sprint repair locations to have ECO5 by next week
I spoke to a Sprint repair location and was told the OTA push was still in progress. It had been temporarily halted due to problems then restarted. He said they would have the software by next week and if I hadn't received the update I could bring it to them and they would update it OTW.

Sprint Epic 4G - March24th has come and gone now and my phone still has not prompted me for EC05. I'm on EB13 and the forums I have read so far is that no EB13 users have yet received OTA updates to EC05. Do you have a timetable for when we'll get updated to current? As a new Samsung user I am fairly disappointed. I feel like I'm being punished for updating to EB13 which was an official release.
Comment1 Me If you can release the "update.zip" I can update my phone manually to EC05. Your EB13 release had an update.zip, why is there not a ZIP file for EB13 to EC05?

Got a message lastnight from Sprint in my notification bar. I thought oooohhh, the update! Nope, it was just another Sprint ID coming soon message they had texted earlier in the week.
Me and my friend's girlfriend both got the Sprint ID message yesterday for our Epic's. I come into work this morning and find out she got her EC05 ota last night, wtf? Of course she was running DI18 and I'm on EB13 that a downloaded from a website, it was a mirror link I guess from last months update. Were in San Antonio, TX so I have a verified DI18 ota here but no Eb13.....

Funny thing -- if you resort to taking your phone in to the Service Center, they may take it in the back, Odin back to DI18, then to EC05, like the rest of us.
I was on EB13, but didn't expect the update as I was on a custom ROM, so I just did the manual install and I'm happy. Good Luck.
This happened to me with eb13, it's as if the digitizer locks up. Unplugging returns everything to normal. After going to DI18 and then updating with EC05, everything works, no weirdness while connected any longer...
Sprint Community says the E13 to E05 is being pushed today. They just updated to post to say that.

Sometimes I feel like people bought this phone just to make "Epic FAIL" jokes. Did you also go to dental school so you could make dentist jokes? Anyway, trust me, you don't know Epic FAIL unless you had the Samsung Instinct, the original iPhone killer.
Glad to hear that they're pushing out EC05 to us EB13 users. On the other hand, I'm pretty happy with EB13, so I would probably not have upgraded had they decided against pushing this OTA.
I bought a Samsung Instinct for my son. What a lousy lousy phone. Just to punish myself still more, I then bought a Samsung Moment for me and when the Epic came out, gave the Moment to my wife and got the Epic. I have this thing for misery.
you and me both... i call samsung my "mistress" she is into dominatrix (samsung). She whipped me with EB13 and then took it away as i was a bad boy....
Is that why I have so much Samsung crap? Could I subconsciously be wanting a Korean dominatrix?
I've got a TV, Blu-Ray, phone, laptop, and that's off the top of my head.

Too funny. I still have my Instinct and you are so right about being the all time epic fail
