I'm glad you waited just to post lol.

Btw, since we are at it, for being the "fastest network" that's actually very slow if compared to the "slowest network" ....if I can reach 60+Mbps as well :-P or maybe, the tables are turning? Hmmmm, interesting ;-)

Yup, now that's fast! Sorry Almeuit, think T-Mobile lost the crown for fastest :-P

So you used the same screenshot from last time and not a new test? That sucks :P.

Also I never said they were the fastest... You're the one putting emphasis on that. I simply said I get good speeds... And they've bumped up since then in my area from the 30s to 50-60 range...

No need to be so defensive. I made no claims against you but for some reason you feel a huge reason to try and rub things in my face.. Yes dpham gets great speeds on AWS.. I don't have it in my area yet.. But T-Mobile AWS speeds are up there as well. It always depends on the band you're using.

I could honestly care less if I get 40 or 80 down... That's enough for me to stream. My only gripe with Sprint as I've told you time and time again is I got dial up speeds which you agreed were garbage and unusable... I simply left because I want to stream.. Either with 30 mbps.. Or 80..or even 15.. Idc. I just want my HD videos to load, music to download, and we pages to not time out.

So please stop acting like I made claims that T-Mobile is the king of speed when I never ever said that. The Internet may but I always disagree... Because it depends on the area you're in at the time... If dpham was here he wouldn't get those speeds.. Is it due to Verizon being bad? No its due to Verizon not having AWS in my city yet..

T-Mobile is the one saying that, not you. I don't think it was directed personally.

Our of curiosity, I've been testing more and more. I've rarely gotten more than 3 down and 1 up with Sprint. That's down significantly from almost 2 years ago where I was getting 12 down 8 up. I've never had an issue where data wasn't usable, but speed, not so much.

They bent over backwards for me durring the upgrade, and when it got better, I figured it would stay. I'm not having the text/voice issues I used to (been solid for a year now), but some speed would be nice. Looks like i'll have to live with it for a while, but I'll be sure to complain.

The point isn't a few tests showing high speed, but the speed most users get. Put it this way, if most people where even getting even 10 mbps at the places they need then they wouldn't leave Sprint. But most of the complaints I read about are very slow speeds.

Exactly. If I would have got 10 with them I would of been thrilled.. I could stream and do what I want.

If I even got what twitch gets... I'd be thrilled and there would of been no reason to leave.. I only left because at the time I struggled for 0.5 Mbps.. And that's just uncalled for :(.

Sprint's network was unusable for me 80% of the time, and I'm in the NY metropolitan area. Left for tmo over a month ago. Wish I done it earlier. A few friends of mine are still on Sprint due to contracts, but once up, they are leaving too.

Of course its the same screen shot, otherwise, it would have been 10-11pm for me, and not fair for you lol.

YOU might not claim T-Mobile is the fastest, but T-Mobile themselves do! Lol....

This is very true....yet most ppl that complain don't have Tri-Band phones on a Tri-Band band market. I'm sure if they did, the complaints would be non existent... Or almost. No network is perfect ;-)

Oh I know they do and as I said I don't agree with them. Speeds are so area dependent no one carrier can claim the best speeds 100 percent of the time.

I know T-Mobile can be fast but I also know other carriers smoke them in other areas around the US. T-Mobile is claiming it off speed tests... Yet root metrics says AT&T is the fastest.. Then Verizon... It's all about who grabs what data from where.

http://www.rootmetrics.com/us/rsr/united-states

As I said I don't agree it's always the fastest... Sometimes it is.. Sometimes it isn't.. That can be said for all :).

And even though you went to instantly defending I really meant a nice test even with 30s.... If I got that while on Sprint I wouldn't of complained... I would just stream and be happy. If I got even faster.. That's just more icing on the cake.

Sure people can buy a tri band phone, but tri band isn't deployed in a lot of areas so it won't do much good for a lot of people. No network is perfect, but sprint's network is way behind compared to competition.

I defended my post, because this is a Sprint thread and you came back with a T-Mobile answer/comparison lol. The point was to show how good it has gotten, no to call anyone out to post theirs... Get me?

Anyway, on that same spot I got 37down, I used to get 8-12.... Just to show who ever comes in here reading, that Sprint IS doing something, and not just delaying everything.

- "While other carriers are adding LTE as an overlay technology to their networks, Sprint is ripping its old network out, replacing every radio, every base station and every backhaul connection, Hesse said. And while Sprint may have spectrum out the wazoo, it’s not in the most easy-to-reach places. Most of Sprint’s competitors had access to a good 20 MHz of 4G spectrum over which they could build pristine new LTE systems. Sprint has had to stitch airwaves from across the electromagnetic spectrum, Hesse said.

Hesse also pointed out that Sprint has faced its fair share of obstacles. Right as it launched its first Wimax network in 2008 in Baltimore, the country was hit by a deep recession, which hit Sprint particularly hard as it was still*hobbled by its ill-advised acquisition of Nextel*a few years earlier."

Sort of old, but a good read.
