Any fixes for a Galaxy S8showing sd card as corrupted?

Every time I have to power on my phone, either from restart or from shut down, it tells me my sd card is corrupted. Sometimes it will reset with just a restart but other times I have to got though the hassle of removing the sd card & wiping cache in safe mode before reinserting the car.
I thought it was an aged sd card issue but the same thing is happening with the new card I just got.
Help please!!

If this is happening regardless of the SD card you're using, then it's probably a faulty SD card reader.
