I'd be curious to hear your impressions once you get the device. I was thinking about the galaxy s7e to replace my nexus 6, mainly for the camera, but I don't think I'm ready to leave stock android and on-screen buttons.
No hard and fast date, sure. But considering how far along 7.0 is already and how intently Samsung has been cranking out monthly security updates for its most recent flagships, it'll be a shock if the Note 7 doesn't have some version of 7.0 before the end of 2016.The Note 7 is tempting, but it's still on Marshmellow with no real date set for Nougat
Sensible plan. If Samsung would lay off the prettypretty glass-all-over designs, I might be tempted myself. I'd love an excellent large display that could crank 1000 nits when needed.Until I know its being rolled out and updated in the UK; I'll stay put with my N6!
Not at all. So much so that I debated even clicking on this thread since I'm done thinking about them.
After lengthy deliberation, I have pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
I am not, in any way, dissatisfied with my N6. It has been a well-performing handset that met my expectations. This is the proverbial hunt for a better mousetrap as I am a confessed gadget guy. Besides, for $35.00, I can return the Note 7 within fourteen days and revert back to the N6.
I took an LG V10 for a brief period of time recently. That went back since I was not pleased by the absence of a color LED for notifications. My N6 (thanks to guidance received via this forum) was rooted and I used Light Flow for notifications.
