Any of you also use a tablet

Best Buy along with a couple retailers have the S3 on sale again. Best Buy near me only had the 128gb version for $600 so I snatched that up. The two next closest Best Buys from me are 40 miles away that have the 32gb in stock. I figured with almost 80 miles round trip with gas and having to buy another SD card that I might as well buy the 128gb version. Only thing I hate is none of the stores carry cases for the tab s3. Only one is verizon and the one by me doesn't. Another one further up the road never picks their phone up. VZ has a $40 heavy duty case. So I ordered one off amazon for $16 heavy duty. Comes on Tue but I work mostly the next couple days so I won't be using it much anyway.

Given the weight and screen real estate I consider the Note 8 to be a tablet.

I've not bought a tablet since my Nexus 7 charging port broke , I've looked at a few from Samsung but they have so many on offer it's confusing....and not really pushed about it either.

I've got the Tab S3 to go with my Note 8 plus I've still got my iPad Pro 9.7 to use when I've got that yearning to go over to the dark side

Any Note 8 owners also use a tablet? If so, which one? I was thinking about getting a tablet to complement my Note 8. There are a few locally very reasonably priced.

iPad Pro 10.5. It's the only tablet worthwhile.

I do like my Pixelbook but not as a tablet. It isn't a good tablet.

I have a mini (I believe the 2nd model that came out???) and was using it quite a bit, but my vision has gone in the toilet (it's an age thing) and I find I haven't picked it up in a very long time. I also have an iPad Air 2 but it hasn't been getting much use lately. I really just need to get rid of the mini. While I love the retina screen it's unfortunately just too small for my aging eyes.

I've historically used my tablets for consumption...i.e. entertainment. So while the note 8 is darn close to a tablet, as far as games and viewing content (movies, streaming netflix, etc.), I do prefer a bigger screen. I'm home a lot so use the computer most of the time but when I'm more mobile (visiting my dad, etc.) I tote the iPad with me.

I haven't looked into Android from a consumption/gaming perspective. I mean I know I can download and stream Netflix and YouTube, but back when I broke into the iPad world what really drew me in was the quality of the games over the Android offerings. I love a good hidden objects game (seems the only ones I can really play...lol...) but back when I broke into tablets Android didn't have squat in this arena. Has that changed/improved?

I have the Tab S3 Wifi only. I also have the iPad Pro, love them both, each for different reasons.

Work issued me an iPad but it collects dust in my drawer. I find them mostly useless. I use a Galaxy Tab S2 (8 inch).

I also use a Surface Book, which can double as a tablet of course. Obviously it's a lot more useful than an Android tablet, iPad Pro, etc. but I prefer the smaller Tab S2 for some apps like FiOS Mobile and streaming in general.

I went back and forth a few times b ut now - have the Tab S3 back again, with bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse, and a decent case. Here to stay.

I just got around to installing a custom Oreo ROM on my Nexus 7 (2013). I like to use it for watching youtube videos and such.
