Any regrets after purchasing the S8 or S8+?

Yes. Regrets. Bluetooth doesn't hold a connection for more than 3-4 minutes. Multiple calls to Samsung tech support... they didn't know about the issue. Prevalent problem. Roll out fix hasn't hit the US and Samsung not saying when it will (their tech had no idea). https://www.androidheadlines.com/20...galaxy-s8-plus-bluetooth-bug-fix-hits-uk.html

On top of that no Visual Voicemail. I am working on returning the phone. Have never purchased a new version of a phone before and won't again. Too bad. The screen is wonderful. Hope this helps someone considering purchasing the S8. My advice. Wait.
What carrier are you on? I have tmobile and don't have Bluetooth issues

Definitely not the norm. Sounds defective to me.
Been the same with all s8's I've had. 4 S8's (3 T-Mobile and 1 unlocked) and an S8 plus. Happens with every headset I try as well.

The thread on the Samsung forum about it is almost 100 pages long. The UK got a patch to fix it but nothing in the US yet.

Same here. I'm in the UK and despite all the updates my s8 Plus AND s8 bluetooth range have been awful. It stays connected just fine at short range and clear line of sight but if I put my phone in my pocket when I go running the music in my Plantronics Backbeat Fit earphones cuts out and stutters a lot and my AndroidWear watches lose connection just leaving my phone in a different room. Both these issues have never ever been a problem with any of the other phones I've had. A great phone otherwise but the Bluetooth range simply sucks

I have regrets purchasing this slow, laggy phone. Hate to say it, but the phone still lags, is slow over time, and still has RAM management issues. I was blown away by the design at first, but when I sit down and use the phone, I still notice the same problems as usual. This might be my last phone from samsung, and I am so glad that I could change phones every year as I have a 1-yr corporate plan that I could use, so I will be patient and wait for the plan to expire and upgrade to a better phone next year that doesn't give me issues like samsung phones have done for so many years. I can only imagine the torment 2 yr plan users who could not upgrade or want an expensive no-contract phone suffer with this phone. Enough is enough...

Could we please keep this thread on point please. We're getting a little off topic at times. Thank you.

Wondering out loud here...For all S8 and S8+ owners in the room... Do you have any regrets now - after several months in - having purchased the phone? Do you still love it, or wish you had held off for another phone (Note 8? G6?).

Sound off!!

Nope it's pretty great. Definitely interested in the note 8 though.

I really love the S8. However, the only regret I have is that I knew when the Note came out I would get it. I could have saved a couple hundred bucks if I had a little self control.

As long as you enjoy the experience, it's worth it!

My only regret is the dedicated Bixby button. Should do like the BB Keyone and let people program that button to whatever one likes.
Bixby is total junk in my opinion. I've tried and tried, but Google Assistant outshines it 100-1.

I was saying the same thing when I got this baby a month ago, but I've been playing with Bixby since they added the voice and it's been growing on me... Just saying, but to each his/her own, but I feel it's definitely getting cooler with time. And must admit I'm kind of curious where Samsung will take this.

Traded in my Note 5 for the S8 Plus , no regrets , thought I would miss the S Pen but Smart Select works just as good, loving this phone

In hindsight I wish I would have stayed with my Note 5, and waited for something else. But what is done is done, not a big deal I can always replace it with something else if I really wanted to.

Lolol. Same here.

Smart select is GREAT. I was so thrilled to see it as an option on here. LG V20 has similar feature that's a great took
