Any Regrets?

The phone is ok, my s10 plus has options i wish was on the s20 ultra. I also went through the developer options and noticed it states i only have 15gb of ram compared to the 16gb that I was under the impression I was getting when I pre-ordered the phone. It has a lot of useless options that I will probably never use and when I have time away from my 10 hour work days I will play with the camera settings and check the photo quality compared to my s10 plus.

You have the 16Gb. It reserves 1 GB not sure what for though.

Not really coming from the 1+7 Pro, its nice to have a smaller and much lighter phone. Went with S20. Also I miss not having wireless charging and AOD. Only thing I miss is 1+ UI. But a launcher fixes most of it.

Welp, I initiated the return today. I gave it one more day. But I still much prefer using my Pixel 4 and I prefer the photos from the Pixel. My Pixel feels snappier. Samsung definitely has improved but even with 120hz, 12GB of RAM etc it still doesn't feel as quick as my Pixel. Hard to explain.

The Pixel doesn't feel like it's a formula car but it's just quick and feels smooth, I think I know what you are saying. Just feels light and nimble.

Interesting. Mine feels snappier then my 4xl but i still prefer the camera on my 4xl . im not a big camera guy though. Maybe because the s20 is a bit overwhelming compared to the 4xl. I do get that feeling

Its the stock Android. Its just simpler to use. Samsung new UI is good, but still its a lot of stuff. Thats why I use a launcher, but then again. Launchers have a lot of stuff as well.

Yeah that's a good way to put it. The Pixel's are just so dialed in. You gotta use one to get it.

I'm keeping my Ultra but exactly how I feel when I still pick up the 4 XL and use it. Well said.

I was really excited for a Samsung phone with a stellar camera this year. Unfortunately I didn't get it. My Ultra can't focus to save it's life. I personally don't have much use for zoom but I do tend to take more macro photos. The Ultra just can't focus on anything up close. It's going back. I think I may try out the S20+. I hear it uses a different tech for focus.

Its actually 14537. I think they round up in intervals of 4

I just want to update my previous Post about skipping the Ultra and getting a Pixel 4XL on the cheap.

A few months later....I got an Ultra anyways, lol.

Regrets? Nope! Now that the latest update fixed the camera focus and increased the image quality, I'm loving it.

The Ultra is a beast. Do I wish it did 120hz at WQHD? Yep! But really, my eyes can barely tell the difference when running at 1080. I am loving 120hz though, it ruins you for all other displays the aren't at least 90hz.
