Seems Samsung's preorder offer with the trade in offers and $225 Samsung credit expires tomorrow. So, anyone having regrets after recieving their S20?

I've got an S10 and I'm still on the fence whether to go for the preorder/trade in or wait until the S21.

Thanks.

I never regret buying new phones

Especially Samsung ones since they have great trade in offers and pre order goodies, and retain value for the next trade in. From what limited time I have, the phone is feeling great to use. Still have to test out the camera.

Love the almost flat screen, that's the biggest thing I'm liking lol

I decided to return my S20 ultra. It’s not a bad device, but for $1400 I was expecting better 5G performance, better in screen fingerprint scanner, and most of all better cameras. The cameras are the biggest let down for me. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and a Pixel 4 XL and I love the cameras on both. The S20 is not a bad phone at all, but for $1400 those particular shortcomings shouldn’t exist. I just got my return label sent to me, gonna package it up and send it back today.

I'm leaning the same way for mostly the same reasons but am going to give it a few days to decide. Other than night mode, I don't see anywhere that this camera is better than my Note 10+ and definitely not my 11 Pro Max and due to the focus issues it is actually not as good in many scenarios. Thinking that I'll return it and if it improves over the course of time repurchase it but right now I am having a hard time giving up my Note 10+ for it.

I hear you. I really wanted to like this phone. I do like it as a phone overall, but the shortcomings are deal breakers for me. I guess I’ll hold on to my iPhone 11 Pro Max and pixel 4 XL until their new versions are released.

This. After trade-in promo, coupon code and samsung points I snagged my Ultra for 500 so I can't complain about the 1,400 price tag as I paid no where near that amount lol...

I tend to agree. I'm loving the phone except for this camera. The auto focus it horrible so far. Just got it today so gonna run it for a week then decide

I'm trading in my note 10 plus for the 20 ultra. I also have an iphone 11 pro max. I love almost everything about the ultra. It feels perfect in the hand, and the screen is great. It just isn't really any better than the note. I'm giving it another week, but I don't even think the battery is better. Even with the trade-in at this point it doesn't seem like an upgrade to the note. The camera is underwhelming at best compared to the iphone and the note.

My total upgrade cost after note trade in and after selling off my active 2 on eBay is about 400. For 400, I think it's worth the upgrade over the note 10 plus so I'll keep it. If I was comparing a note 10 plus new for the going swappa rate or an ultra, the note 10 plus would absolutely be the better choice. Its 95 percent of the phone for 60 percent of the price. I would never pay full price for this thing.

Not feeling so warm and fuzzy about this phone especially since this is my first Samsung so I paid full retail for it. And won't even get to see the box until FedEx gets here in about six hours.

Sure hope I like it cause I hate returns. Good thing is I didn't purchase it necessarily for the cameras; just cause I wanted a new phone and thought I would try Samsung.

Time will tell.

LOL

With no sign of a label having even been created and no other sign that this phone has been shipped or is even being prepped for shipping, I'm beginning to regret that I ordered it at all?

Mines going back. I have a Note 10+ and there is no compelling reason to switch over. The camera is very disappointing and not because it's bad. It's a good camera but It's typical Samsung processing with no real improvements. Samsung decided to spend time on gimmicky space zoom instead of double down on their camera software and leaping over pixel/iphone.

The 120hz screen is nice but I don't really care for it.

5G is forced upon us. It's too early to be good in my area(spotty). Honestly rather Samsung went with the 855+ and saved us some money.

I love it. No regrets from me. Best phone on the market right now imo.

I love the (single take) picture option. I will be using that a lot.

The phone is insane don't worry. Just a few annoying issues with the camera that I noticed coming from a pixel. Otherwise I'm loving it.

I haven't tested it out on humans and pets because I only set it up late last night but I've seen shots in the threads that don't look oversoftened as people typically complain about.

Honestly I'm on the fence with it. I originally ordered the S20 plus and was completely content with the until I saw the ultra at the store and then I decided to get the ultra instead and honestly I don't see anything extra special about the ultra so I'm thinking of returning it and ordering the s20+ instead. Does anyone know how much Samsung charges for returns?

I just canceled my pre order and grabbed a Pixel 4XL. My carrier (Rogers) offered me roughly 50% off with financing.

I now pay $99CDN a month for 10GB plus the Pixel 4XL. The Ultra was going to be $152 a month.

Nope, not for sub par cameras.
The Pixel cameras rock, and you can run 90HZ at Max resolution. My friend does on his, and the battery life still lasts a day.
